The national award "Urker" is aimed at identifying talented journalists and creative teams in the field of print, radio and Internet journalism, recognizing their contribution to the development of professional journalism and attracting wide public attention to their work.

The participants of the Prize can be republican and regional radio stations, print and Internet publications that produce and distribute content.

The jury carries out an expert assessment of potential applicants for the Prize. The jury includes well-known media managers, journalists, public figures who have made a significant contribution to the development of the country's media industry.
