Project "International Technopark of IT-startups Astana Hub"

Astana Hub is an international technology park of IT start-ups. It creates conditions for the free development of Kazakh and foreign technology companies.
The global mission of Astana Hub is to become a center of innovative projects development, to produce breakthrough IT-companies, as well as to become a hotbed for attracting a critical mass of young and talented IT-specialists from all over the world.
The Technopark was established on behalf of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan within the framework of the fifth direction of the state program "Digital Kazakhstan".
Conditions for participants
Astana Hub has over 130 member companies. All members of the technopark receive tax incentives, and this: 0% CIT (corporate income tax), 0% IIT (individual income tax), 0% VAT (value added tax), and from 2020 - 0% social tax for non-residents.
Besides, the status of a participant makes it possible to apply a simplified procedure of obtaining a work visa to attract foreign workers.
A work visa is granted for up to 5 years, whereas the standard work visa limit is 3 years.
Development Programmes
Startup projects can go to the Astana Hub acceleration and incubation programs.
The accelerator is the only accelerator program in Kazakhstan designed to develop IT startup projects. Its duration is 3 months and it aims to build a business through mentoring, tracker, training and expert support. At Astana Hub, 78 startups have completed the acceleration program. The amount of investments attracted by them amounted to more than 1 billion tenge. 149 jobs were created.
Incubation is a long-term program for the development of startup projects, based on regular study of participants' needs. Program participants are accommodated in a single co-covorking with a flexible plan of activities. Astana Hub has created a special environment in which startups can focus on project development for 6 months, work in a convenient modern co-coordination space in the community of like-minded people, receive advice from experts and establish relationships with potential investors.
