National Spatial Data Infrastructure (NSDI)

Implementation period of the project "National Spatial Data Infrastructure" - 2020-2023.

Common standards will enable industry systems to interact effectively with each other and also increase the speed of public services related to cards.

Currently, taking into account changes in legislative and regulatory acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on planning of projects providing for creation and development of informatization objects, the Investment Proposal of the "NSDI" project has been finalized, and positive industry opinions have been received on it again.

In 2019 more than 40 standards on NSDI were developed within the framework of the Plan on State Standardization of the Committee for Technical Regulation and Metrology of MIID RK.

The "National Spatial Data Infrastructure" project should become a tool that allows to see all information - basic and thematic (sectoral) spatial data.

The main effects of the Project implementation:

• improvement of coordinate accuracy;
• increase of labor productivity in topographic-geodesic production, engineering geodesic surveys;
• openness of spatial data;
• possibility of integration of sectoral spatial data, cadastres.
