The creation of ASM in mudflow-prone areas of the city of Almaty will provide remote real-time monitoring of the hydrometeorological situation, moraine lakes and prevention of mudflows in the central part of the Ile Alatau.

The implemented system of automated monitoring of mudflow hazard will allow monitoring and assessing the outburst hazard of moraine lakes, safety against the threat of mudflows through integrated monitoring of mudflow manifestations, remotely in real time to monitor the hydrometeorological situation and, in general, reduce the level of risk of emergencies caused by mudflows in the basins of the Kishi and Ulken Almaty, Kargaly and Aksai rivers.
