A social card combines the functionality of a payment, transport, discount card, student card, and, in the long term, a medical, access card, insurance card, as well as a pension card or student card. The universal card was developed within the framework of the project "Social ID of a citizen of Kazakhstan". Recipients of pensions / benefits, salary projects are transferred to the social card payments (pensions, benefits, including TSA, salary, scholarship and other payments), then the card can pay in public transport and make non-cash purchases with 1 percent cashback. At the same time, target control is established on the card, when, for example, child benefits can be spent only on the needs of children.
