Report on the activities of the region's culture and arts institutions for the 9 months of 2026

In the Kyzylorda region, services are provided to the public by 412 institutions dedicated to culture, the arts, and archives (including 209 libraries, 172 cultural centers and clubs, 13 museums, a city park for culture and recreation, the Regional Center for the Development of Folk Art and Cultural Production, the N. Bekezhanov Kazakh Academic Music and Drama Theater, a youth theater, the regional philharmonic, the "Anağa Tağzym" Center, an institution for the preservation of historical and cultural monuments, and 11 archival institutions).
Over the first nine months of 2026, the region's cultural centers and clubs hosted 10,977 cultural events—part of the "Adal Adam" cultural and educational center project—attracting a total audience of 937,758 people. Notably, to identify and foster young talent, the region held 8 national and 70 regional competitions, festivals, and *aitys* (traditional improvisational poetry) contests.
Activities were organized across seven project areas: 3,748 events under "ART Uaqyt"; 1,742 film screenings under "Cinema TIME"; 1,298 events for the "Alem BOOK" reading club; 923 events under "Januya Shuagy"; 937 discussion sessions under "Suhbat TIME"; 888 exhibitions under "Creative HUB"; and 1,441 initiatives organized with the participation of volunteer groups. The Kyzylorda Regional Philharmonic held 176 events—comprising 99 concerts, 76 children's performances, and one citywide arts competition—reaching an audience of 57,887 people. Touring concerts were organized featuring the Philharmonic’s performance groups in Astana, Karaganda, and the Birzhan Sal District of the Akmola Region, as well as in various settlements across the Zhalagash, Shieli, and Syrdarya districts of our own region.
In July, the Philharmonic’s "Ademi" children's musical theater studio presented performances to young audiences at several local preschools and the "Umai" charitable medical and educational shelter for children. Performances also took place in the settlement of Terenozek and the villages of Shagan, Shirkeili, Kogalykol, Amankeldy, S. Seifullin, A. Tokmagambetov, Akzharma, N. Ilyasov, and Besaryk (all located in the Syrdarya District). These events aimed to cultivate children's aesthetic tastes, foster their interest in the arts, and provide meaningful cultural and spiritual leisure activities.
The N. Bekezhanov Kazakh Academic Musical-Drama Theater presented 192 performances to audiences, including 64 drama productions and 128 shows for children and puppet theater productions. To expand and refresh its repertoire, the theater staged three new productions: a comedy for adults by A. Kazybek titled *Thieves*; a play for children by M. Akhmanov and M. Tomaev titled *The Ram and the Goat*; a puppet show by A. Muratova titled *Traffic Light*; and a tragicomedy titled *Ku-ku*, based on Ken Kesey’s novel *One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest*.
To mark World Theatre Day, the theater hosted a celebratory event, "Bekezhanov Show: Theater Celebration," and its inaugural internal festival, "Nartai Theatre Fest." Over the course of five days, audiences enjoyed nine of the theater's best productions, including two plays for children. In total, the festival attracted around 4,000 spectators, further strengthening the bond between the theater and the public.
In line with the "Law and Order" initiative, the theater presented the drama *A Woman's Fate* by A. Zhaparov.
To improve access to cultural services and promote the art of theater in remote areas, the company toured the Zhanakorgan, Shieli, Syrdarya, Karmakshy, Kazaly, and Aral districts, as well as the city of Turkistan. Audiences were treated to performances of the dramas *Jamilia* by Ch. Aitmatov and *A Childhood That Never Was* by A. Yelgezek.
From September 28 to 30, coinciding with the International Day of Older Persons, the theater organized tours to the Aral and Kazaly districts, while the "Nartai Buldirshinderi" puppet troupe toured the Zhalagash district. In September, the N. Bekezhanov Theater opened its 72nd season with the premiere of the tragicomedy *Ku-ku*, based on Ken Kesey’s novel *One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest*.

The gala concert "Ainaldym senen, Atameken," marking the 80th anniversary of Shomishbay Sariev—an Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, *aqyn* (poet-improviser), and recipient of the Barys and Parasat orders; the memorial evening "Saz äleminin sañlağı," dedicated to the 80th anniversary of composer Kenes Duisekeev—an Honored Worker of Kazakhstan and recipient of the Qurmet and Parasat orders; and "Sen ediñ, Syrdyñ bulbuly," dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the talented singer, educator, and Honored Artist of Kazakhstan Karakoz Akdauletova.
To foster young talent, popularize the art of the spoken word, and train young emcees, the region hosts several traditional events: the "Marzhan söz, qoñyr ün" regional competition, the "KYZYLORDA mobfest" regional competition for mobile videographers, and the 28th "Boztorgay" regional children's creativity contest. Winners of these competitions went on to participate in the international "Boztorgay" festival in Almaty, where they secured prize-winning places.
The arts center hosted concerts featuring the Turmagambet Folk Orchestra and the symphony orchestra performing masterpieces of Kazakh and world cinema; the "Akmeshit" folklore ensemble presenting "Breath of the Steppe". Events included "Dance: A Mystery of the Soul" and "Voice of My Heart," a creative concert by G. Berikkyzy—a prima *kobyz* player and laureate of international and national competitions. Festive events were organized to mark the Day of Unity of the People of Kazakhstan (May 1)—themed "Kazakhstan: A Land of Friendship"—as well as Defender of the Fatherland Day (May 7) and the 81st anniversary of the Great Victory, celebrated under the theme "A Free Nation of Noble Spirit and Mighty Strength."
A concert by the vocal-instrumental ensemble "Syr Samaly" was held in memory of the singer and composer Batyrkhan Shukenov, an Honored Worker of Kazakhstan.
Creative evenings and concerts were organized to celebrate the 75th anniversary of *zhirau* (epic storyteller) Almas Almatov (Honored Worker of Kazakhstan); the 70th anniversary of singer and *termeshi* (performer of *terme* songs) Bibizhar Makhanbetkyzy (Honored Cultural Worker); and the 60th anniversary of singer Zhenis Iskakova (Honored Worker of Kazakhstan).
To mark the 450th anniversary of the prominent military commander Zhalantos Bahadur, a national *aitys* (improvisational poetry contest) titled "Hero Zhalantos: A Great Son of the Nation" was held. Twelve *akyns* (improvisational poets) from eight regions of the country participated. Zhuldyzay Maratbek won the Grand Prix; Mukhtar Niyazov took first place; Khavdolla Beyiskhan took second place; and Maksat Akanov and Meyirbek Sultankhan shared third place. On May 21, a festive event was held to celebrate the Day of Culture and Art Workers. Representatives of the arts and literature sectors were presented with the regional governor's "Turan" award, as well as state and industry honors. The House of Zhyrau hosted *zhyrau* evenings dedicated to the 80th anniversary of K. Rustembekov, the 800th anniversary of the *kuy* "Aksak Kulan," and the work of *zhyrshy* Toghzhan Otenova, a representative of the Nartay school.
A concert celebrating Nauryz, featuring master artists from the region, was held in Geneva, Switzerland.
In May, concerts by regional artists and a fair showcasing the works of decorative and applied arts masters from the Kyzylorda region took place in Paris (at the Kurultai of European Kazakhs) and in Luxembourg.
In July, to mark National Dombra Day, a festive event titled "Dombra – People's Heritage" was organized in Presidential Park; the program featured the Turmagambet Folk Instruments Orchestra, traditional song performers, and a dombra ensemble.
Touring concerts by master artists from the Syr region were organized: "Musical Greetings from Beautiful Syr" at the Y. Rakhmadiyev State Academic Philharmonic in Astana; "Kyzylorda in Dance" in Karaganda (marking the 25th anniversary of the "Tomiris" dance ensemble); and performances in the Shieli District by the "Syrdyn Sazdy Khory" chamber choir and the Turmagambet Folk Instruments Orchestra, featuring global hits and popular movie soundtracks.
The Arts Center hosted a creative evening titled "Gladiator of Poetry," dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the poet Shahizada Abdikarimov, a recipient of the "Kurmet" and "Parasat" orders. In September, as part of the events marking the 35th anniversary of the Republic of Kazakhstan's independence, the Arts Center hosted a national team *aitys* (improvisational poetry contest) titled "Tughyry Biik Tauelsizdik" (Independence: A Lofty Foundation) between the Zhetysu and Kyzylorda regions. Participants included not only *akyns* (improvisational poets) but also *zhyrshy-termeshi* (performers of epic tales and didactic songs), traditional vocalists, and *kuy-shi* (performers of traditional instrumental pieces known as *kuy*). The *akyns* competed in various *aitys* genres—such as *ture*, *sure*, *kaiym*, and the male-female duet format—with the Kyzylorda region team ultimately advancing to the next round.
Additionally, a concert titled "Egemen Eldin Kuy Kerueni" (The Caravan of Melodies of a Sovereign Nation) was organized to launch the season for the Turmagambet Folk Instruments Orchestra.
Renowned conductor R. Madreev—an Honored Worker of Kazakhstan and recipient of the Kurmet Order—was specially invited to conduct the orchestra. The musical evening featured unique compositions performed in special arrangements created by the conductor.
To enhance the professional skills of its staff, the Regional Philharmonic hosted a specialized training seminar titled "Application and Training in Artificial Intelligence (AI) Tools: Photo and Video Generation."
During the three-day training course, Philharmonic staff members gained theoretical knowledge and mastered effective techniques for using AI tools by completing practical assignments.
In line with the "Law and Order" principle, a national *zhyrshy-termeshi* contest titled "Just Law – Just Society" was held. The Grand Prix was awarded to Yerlan Ryskali; Didar Kamiev took first place, Marat Sugirbay took second place, and Boken Zhiger and Gabit Shyrynbekov shared third place. To promote the principle of "law and order" in society and widely publicize the "Taza Qazaqstan" republican environmental campaign, concerts featuring artists from the regional philharmonic and local performers were held at Presidential Park and the City Park of Culture and Recreation.

Information on the work of cultural and artistic institutions in the region for the second quarter of 2026

In Kyzylorda Region, 412 cultural, artistic, and archival institutions provide services to the public (209 libraries, 172 cultural centers and clubs, 13 museums, a city park of culture and recreation, a regional center for the development of folk art and cultural production activities, the N. Bekezhanov Kazakh Academic Music and Drama Theater, a youth theater, a regional philharmonic society, the "Anaga Tagzym" center, an institution for the protection of historical and cultural monuments, and 11 archival institutions).
As part of the "Adal Adam" project, 3,827 cultural events were held in the region's cultural centers and clubs in the second quarter of 2026, attracting 293,084 spectators. In particular, the regional center for the development of folk art organized 8 cultural events, attended by 5,498 spectators. Including 7 programs: 312 screenings were held in "Kino TIME," 1,306 events in "ART Uaqyt," 404 events in the "Alem BOOK" reading club, 320 discussions in "Suhbat TIME," 296 exhibitions in "Kreativtі HAB," and 318 events in "Zhanuya Shuaqy." Volunteer groups also participated in 541 charity events, with 36,088 volunteers participating.
To identify young talent, 32 festival competitions were organized (3 national and 29 regional).
The Kyzylorda Regional Philharmonic Society held 74 events (43 concerts, 31 productions) in the second quarter, reaching 20,460 spectators. Eleven tours of the Philharmonic's creative groups were organized: "Syr Elіnen Sazdy Selem" to Shymkent, the "Tomiris" ensemble to the Zhalagash district, and the "Ademі" children's theater studio to villages in the Kyzylorda region.
The N. Bekezhanov Kazakh Academic Musical and Drama Theater presented 90 performances, reaching 28,557 spectators. Among them were 31 dramas and 59 children's and puppet productions.
To expand and update its repertoire, the theater staged three new performances (A. Kazybek's comedy "Thieves" for adults, M. Akhmanov and M. Tomaev's play "The Ram and the Goat" for children, and A. Muratova's puppet production "Traffic Light").
As part of the "Law and Order" principle, the theater presented A. Japarov's drama "The Fate of a Woman."
To improve access to cultural services and promote theatrical arts in remote communities, tours were organized to the Zhanakorgan, Shieli, Syrdarya, Karmakshinsky, Kazalinsky, and Aralsky districts, as well as the city of Turkestan. Audiences were treated to the dramas
"Jamila" by Sh. Aitmatov and "Unfulfilled Childhood" by A. Elgezek.

Berikkyzy, "The Voice of My Heart." Festive events were organized for Kazakhstan's People's Unity Day (May 1) - "Kazakhstan - a Country of Friendship," Defender of the Fatherland Day (May 7), and the 81st anniversary of the Great Victory (Victory Day).
A concert by the Syr Samaly vocal and instrumental ensemble was held in memory of singer and composer, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan Batyrkhan Shukenov. Concerts were organized to commemorate the 70th birthday of Honored Cultural Figure, singer, and termeshi (a kind of Kazakh folk dance) Bibizhar Makhanbetkyzy, and the 60th birthday of Honored Worker of Kazakhstan Zhenis Iskakova.
Within the framework of the "Law and Order" principle, a national competition of zhyrshy termeshi (a kind of folk dance) titled "A Fair Law – A Fair Society" was held. Yerlan Ryskali won the Grand Prix, Didar Kamiev won first place, Marat Sugirbay won second place, and Boken Zhiger and Gabit Shyrynbekov won third place.
On April 29, a regional contemporary dance competition was held for International Dance Day, attracting over 300 participants.
To commemorate the 450th anniversary of the outstanding military leader Zhalantos Bakhadur, a national aytys of akyns (a popular dance festival) titled "Alty alashtyn arysy – er Zhalantos" was held. Twelve akyns from eight regions of the country participated. The 28th Regional Children's Creativity Competition "Boztorgay" was held on April 28-29. More than 300 young talents competed in vocals, choreography, musical instruments, and folk performance. The winners went on to participate in the international "Boztorgay" festival in Almaty and took home prizes.

On May 21, a celebratory event was held to mark Culture and Art Workers' Day. Representatives of the arts and literature were awarded the "Turan" prize from the regional akim, as well as state and industry awards. The House of Zhyrau hosted zhyr evenings dedicated to the 80th anniversary of K. Rustembekov, the 800th anniversary of the Aksak Kulan kyui, and the representative of the Nartai school, zhyrsha Togzhan Otenova.
A concert for the Nauryz holiday was held in Geneva, Switzerland, with the participation of a group of regional art masters.
In May, concerts and a fair of arts and crafts by Kyzylorda region artisans took place at the Kurultai of European Kazakhs in Paris and in Luxembourg.
On June 1, to commemorate Children's Day, a festive concert was held at the Talsuat Rehabilitation Center, along with children's performances by the "Nartaydyn Buldiirshinderi" puppet troupe and the "Ademi" musical theater studio at the theater and philharmonic.
On June 26, the final concert of the 53rd season of the regional philharmonic took place, dedicated to the 80th anniversaries of the renowned poet Sh. Sariev and composer K. Duisekeev. At the concert, the ensemble presented their creative achievements to the audience, and singers performed musical works accompanied by a symphony orchestra.

There are 413 cultural, art, and archival institutions operating in the Kyzylorda region (including 209 libraries, 172 community centers and clubs, 14 museums, a city park of culture and recreation, a regional cultural production center and a center for the development of folk art, the N. Bekezhanov Kazakh Academic Music and Drama Theater, a youth theater, a regional philharmonic society, the "Anaga Tagzym" center, a regional center for the protection of historical and cultural heritage, and 11 archival institutions).
Construction is currently underway on four rural clubs (a 150-seat rural club in the village of Amanotkel, Aralsky District; a 100-seat rural club in the Maidakol rural district, Kazalinsky District; a 150-seat club in the village of Bestam, Shieli District; and a 100-seat rural club in the village of Ekpindi, Zhanakorgan District).
During the first nine months of 2025, as part of the Adal Adam cultural and educational center project, 11,050 events were held in rural clubs and community centers across seven areas, reaching 886,672 people.
To develop children's creativity and introduce them to cultural education, 20 new clubs were opened, covering such national art genres as poetry, oratory, kobyz, zhyr-terme, and applied arts.
The region held four national aitys festivals, one regional festival, one national kuyshi festival, and 39 regional competition-festivals.
The regional philharmonic society organized 102 concerts, attracting 40,135 spectators. The regional philharmonic's creative team organized 88 productions, 24 tours, and six charity concerts.
During the reporting period, the N. Bekezhanov Regional Musical and Drama Theater staged 123 performances, attracting 36,702 spectators. Of these, 53 were dramas, 70 were children's shows, and 70 were puppet shows. The theater's repertoire was expanded with five new productions (A.N. Ostrovsky's drama "Thunderclap" and R.E. Raspe's buffoonery for children and adults "The World of Munchausen," A. Tauasarov's drama "The Bear's Sister," L. Tabukashvili's melodrama "The White Bird of My Dreams," and A. Muratov and N. Baimakhan's concert performance "One Wave").
Events held: In February, the republican team aitys competition "Adal enbek - el yrysy" was held between akyns from the Kyzylorda and Almaty regions. In the poetry competition, teams demonstrated such aitys as sure, kaiym, and aitys between a girl and a boy, and also competed in kyuis, traditional singing, zhyra, and terme. Within the framework of the "Nauryznama" decade, in accordance with the concept of the holiday, cultural events were held in all organizations and cultural institutions, such as the national clothing festival "Koshpendіler әlemі", a festive theatrical concert "Nauryz - bereke bastauy", a regional competition of presenters and entertainers "Marzhan soz, қoңыр үн", for the 100th anniversary of the historical event associated with the transfer of the capital of the Kazakh ASSR to Kyzylorda, a regional mobilegraph competition "KYZYLORDA mobfest" was organized, for the 60th anniversary of the kyuyshi and composer Tolepbergen Tokzhanov, a regional kyuyshi competition "Tuymy bөlek tұlpar" and a creative evening of the anniversary with the participation of the Turmagambet folk instrument orchestra "Syr ana". From March 23 to 28, Kyzylorda Region Arts Days were organized in Finland, Estonia, and Spain, using funds allocated from the regional budget, to coincide with the Nauryz holiday.
The event included concerts featuring artists from our region, who presented the richness of our national culture and art on international stages.
From April 24 to 30, 2025, the city of Kyzylorda hosted the "Syrdyn Sabirasy" International Theater Festival, named after People's Artist of the USSR Sabira Maikanova, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the N. Bekezhanov Kyzylorda Regional Kazakh Academic Musical and Drama Theater.
A total of 11 professional theater companies participated in the festival. Three international theaters (Romania, Georgia, and Kyrgyzstan – 62 people) and eight domestic theaters (168 people) participated. Following the festival, the N. Bekezhanov Kazakh Academic Music and Drama Theater of the Kyzylorda Region won the Grand Prix for its production of A. Ostrovsky's "Nayzagay."
To develop children's and youth creativity and identify and support young talent, the 21st Regional Competition "Boztorgay" was held on April 23-24, 2025. Approximately 1,000 applicants from Kyzylorda and its districts participated in the qualifying rounds (320 individual performers, 13 ensembles, and 49 dance groups). The winners received vouchers to participate in the final round of the "Boztorgay" competition in Almaty.
In May, all cultural institutions organized cultural events and patriotic song competitions to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. A republican aytys of akyns, "Ush dәuіrdің astanasy – Kyzylorda," was held to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the historic event associated with the transfer of the republic's capital to Kyzylorda. A festive event was held to commemorate May 21st—Culture and Art Workers' Day—at which 20 representatives of the arts and literature were awarded the special "Turan" prize from the regional akim, and cultural institutions were presented with kobyzys. Also, as part of the professional holiday, two representatives of the arts and literature were awarded state awards. Zhyrau Aibek Tanirbergenov attended the gala reception hosted by the Head of State in Astana in honor of the holiday and was awarded the "Eren eңbegі үshіn" medal. On June 2, as part of the 70th anniversary of the Baikonur Cosmodrome, a celebratory concert featuring renowned Kazakh pop performers was held.
The 2nd National Kuyshi Competition "Syr Tolkyny" was held, dedicated to National Dombra Day and the 175th anniversary of Myrza Toktabolatuly.
In July, to ensure a meaningful summer vacation for children, the children's musical theater studio "Ademі" presented performances from its repertoire.
The celebratory cultural event, dedicated to Constitution Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan on August 30, was held at a high level and featured a comprehensive program. To promote the work of renowned artists in the republic, the Kyzylorda Art Center hosted recitals in June: "Syr men zhyr" by Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, State Prize laureate, and member of the Writers' Union of Kazakhstan Ulykbek Esdaulet; "Tagzym" by theater and film actor and People's Artist of Kazakhstan Doskhan Zholzhaksynov; and "Syrly saz saltanaty" by composer Baltabay Nurzhanov, commemorating the 80th anniversary of the kyuishi. Concerts were also held by kyuishi and People's Artist of Kazakhstan Seken Turysbekov, "Akzhauyn," Honored Worker of Kazakhstan Tolkyn Zabirova, "Omіrge ghashykpyn," and singer Bagdat Samedinova, "Men dalanyn kyzymyn." From September 17 to 20, 2025, the Nartaydyn Buldіrshіnderі Theatre's puppet troupe participated in the Kostanay Puppet Life International Puppet Festival with K. Begmanov's production "Ur, Tokpaq." The troupe was awarded a nomination for preserving national traditions.
The festival featured theater companies from China, Russia, Iran, Peru, Uzbekistan, and the Kazakh cities of Astana, Aktau, Kyzylorda, and Zhezkazgan.
Premieres included "Ayudyn Apany," a drama by A. Tauasarov, and "Armanymnyn Aq Qusy," a melodrama by L. Tabukashvili. Targeted at a youth audience, the troupe explores the theme of love as not only a beautiful feeling but also a great responsibility. The production combines humorous elements with dramatic moments, leaving a profound impression and provoking thought. Recommended for young couples, it carries a profound educational message. "Bir Tolkyn," a concert-performance (by A. Muratova and N. Baimakhan), reflects the creative exploration of the theater's young generation. Combining poetry and music, the concert-performance explores themes of spiritual and moral education, inner purity, and national values. Through the emotional perception of art, audiences are reminded of the most important human values: family, native land, sincere feelings, and the power of memories.
The Abay Theater in Semey hosted the Kyzylorda Region Arts Day, entitled "Sulu Syrdan — Uly Abay Eline." The concert program featured the Turmagambet Folk Instruments Orchestra, a symphony orchestra, the "Syr Samaly" vocal and instrumental ensemble, the "Tomiris" dance ensemble, a choir, and soloists who have celebrated Kazakh song on the world stage: S. Bayseitova, S. Tasbergenova, M. Makhulbekov, M. Amanzholov, A. Tabynbayev, Zh. Amanbay, M. Zhantore, and B. Serik, who performed classical works. Masters of folk poetry—Sh. Bimbetova, A. Nogaybayeva, M. Sugirbay, as well as traditional performer and member of the "Akmeshіt" folklore ensemble B. Toleubayev—presented the songs and poetry of their native land to Altai audiences, broadly promoting folk music. The gala concert featured performances by R. Usenov, O. Nuraliyev, A. Abdi, A. Makhambetzhanova, A. Kozhakhmetov, A. Shozhen, and A. Toregali, who won the hearts of the audience. The Tomiris Dance Ensemble and mixed choir received warm applause from the Semey audience. The Kyzylorda Region Art Days continued in the city of Oskmen under the title "Sulu Syrdan - Shyrayly Shygyska."
During the reporting period, 150 artists and 25 creative groups from the region participated in 18 international, 20 national, and 10 regional competitions held across the country and abroad, winning a total of 55 grand prix awards and 94 prizes.

Currently, work is underway to build 4 rural clubs (a rural club for 150 people in the village of Amanotkel, Aralsky district, a rural club for 100 people in the Maidakol rural district, Kazalinsky district, a club for 150 people in the village of Bestam, Shieli district, a rural club for 100 people in the village of Ekpindi, Zhanakorgan district.)
During the first half of 2025, within the framework of the Adal Adam cultural and educational center project, 7,265 events were held in rural clubs and cultural centers in 7 areas, covering 659,682 people.
In order to develop children's creativity and introduce children to cultural education, 20 new circles were opened, covering such genres of national art as poetry, oratory, kobyz, zhyr-terme and applied arts.
In the region, 4 republican aitys, 1 regional, 31 regional competition-festivals were held.
The regional philharmonic society organized 71 concerts, attracting 25,130 spectators. The creative team of the regional philharmonic society organized 38 productions, 19 tours and 5 charity concerts.
During the reporting period, the regional musical and drama theater named after N. Bekezhanov staged a total of 117 performances, attracting 22,710 spectators. Of these, 39 were drama, 68 were children's and puppet shows. The theater's repertoire was replenished with 5 new performances.

In February, the republican team aitys "Adal enbek - el yrysy" was held between akyns of the Kyzylorda and Almaty regions. In the poetry competition, the teams demonstrated such types of aitys as sure, kaiym, aitys between a girl and a boy, and also competed in the performance of kyuis, traditional singing, zhyra, terme. Within the framework of the decade of "Nauryznama" in accordance with the Concept of the holiday, cultural and mass events were held in all organizations and cultural institutions, such as the festival of national clothes "Koshpendiler alemi", a festive theatrical concert "Nauryz - bereke bastauy", a regional competition of hosts and comperes "Marzhan soz, konyr un", for the 100th anniversary of the historical event associated with the transfer of the capital of the Kazakh ASSR to Kyzylorda, a regional competition of mobilographs "KYZYLORDA mobfest" was organized, for the 60th anniversary of the kyuishi and composer Tolepbergen Tokzhanov, a regional competition of kyuishi "Tuymy bolek tulpar" and a creative evening of the anniversary with the participation of the orchestra of folk instruments named after Turmagambet "Syr ana". From April 24 to 30, 2025, the International Theater Festival "Syrdyn Sabirasy" named after People's Artist of the USSR Sabira Maikanova was held in the city of Kyzylorda, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Kyzylorda Regional Kazakh Academic Musical and Drama Theater named after N. Bekezhanov.
A total of 11 professional theater groups took part in the festival. Three theaters from abroad (Romania, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan - 62 people) and eight theaters from our country (168 people) took part in them. Following the results of the festival, the Kazakh Academic Music and Drama Theater named after N. Bekezhanov of the Kyzylorda region won the Grand Prix with the production of A. Ostrovsky "Naizagay". In order to develop the creativity of children and young people, identify and support young talents, the XXIII regional competition "Boztorgay" was held on April 23-24, 2025. About 1000 applicants from Kyzylorda and districts who passed the qualifying rounds took part in the competition (320 individual performers, 13 ensembles, 49 dance groups). The winners received tickets to participate in the final round of the "Boztorgay" competition in Almaty. In May, cultural events and patriotic song competitions were organized in all cultural institutions for the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, the republican aitys of akyns "Ush dauirdin astanasy - Kyzylorda" was held for the 100th anniversary of the historical event associated with the transfer of the capital of the republic to Kyzylorda, a festive solemn event was held for May 21 - the Day of Culture and Art Workers, within the framework of which 20 representatives of the arts and literature were awarded a special prize of the regional akim "Turan", and cultural institutions were presented with kobyzes.
Also, as part of the professional holiday, two representatives of the sphere were awarded state awards, zhyrau Aibek Tanirbergenov was at the ceremonial reception of the Head of State in honor of the holiday in Astana and was awarded the medal "Eren enbegi ushin".
On June 2, as part of the 70th anniversary of the creation of the cosmodrome in the city of Baikonur, a festive concert was organized with the participation of famous performers of the Kazakh stage.

In the Kyzylorda region, 412 cultural, art and archive institutions serve the population (including 209 libraries, 171 Houses of Culture and Clubs, 14 museums, the regional cultural and production center and the Center for the Development of Folk Art, the Kazakh Academic Music and Drama Theater named after N. In 2024, work was completed on the construction of a multifunctional Palace of Arts for 1,000 seats in Kyzylorda and the construction of a club for 100 seats in the village of Kaukei in the Kazaly district.

Since 2024, on the instructions of the Head of State, within the framework of the Adal Azamat Concept, all 171 cultural centers and rural clubs have been working in seven areas of the cultural and educational project "Adal Adam".
Currently, 1,049 clubs operate at cultural centers and clubs in the region, which cover 12,659 children. Including 112 clubs operating under the Adal Adam project in the direction of "ART-time", in which 1 495 children and adolescents participate. The theater's repertoire was replenished with new productions: the documentary drama "Chanel No. 5" by M. Omarova, the drama "Keshirshi..." by K. Tileukhan, the tragicomedy "Uylenu onay" by N. Baimakhan, the tragicomedy "Hidalgo" by S. Zhubatyrov.
On April 17-18, the theater's creative team visited Almaty on tour and presented the best performances from the theater's repertoire to the Almaty audience: "Romeo and Juliet" by W. Shakespeare (tragedy), "Bolmagan balalyk shak" by A. Elgezek (drama), "Keshirshi..." by K. Tileukhan (drama), and the puppet show "The Little Prince" by A. Saint-Exupery.
Also, in May, at the special invitation of the TURKSOY organization in Ankara (Turkey), the psychological drama "Ak Leylek" by S. Raev was presented to the Turkish audience at the Necip Fazıl Kısakürek Theater.
During the year, many events and projects were implemented. In particular, 166 events were held. The total number of spectators was 48,700 people. Of these, 117 concerts, 49 productions, 6 charity events and 29 tours. Two new creative groups were also created in the Philharmonic: the modern dance ensemble "Ai-Aru" and a choir. These groups are an important step aimed at developing the cultural life of the region and supporting new initiatives in the field of art.
With the support of the head of the region, a lot of work was done in the Philharmonic. The 1000-seat Arts Center, which adorned the architecture of our city, was transferred for use to the Philharmonic team, and an additional auxiliary building, built on E. Auelbekov Street in 2021, was opened as a house of Storytellers on the basis of a branch of the regional Philharmonic.
New creative groups were formed: the modern dance ensemble "AI-ARU" (20 full-time units) and a choir (30 full-time units). The total number of staff members of the Philharmonic increased by 36%. As for cultural events, January began with a concert of the Symphony Orchestra "Symphony of Sazy". The program included works by composers from the Syrdarya region, as well as famous works by Kazakh and world composers. In May, for the 380th anniversary of Aiteke bi Baybekuly, a concert of the creative team of the Philharmonic "Dostyk Sazy" was held in the city of Novai, Republic of Uzbekistan. A memorial concert "Mangi izdeymin" was organized for the birthday of the outstanding singer, talented poet and musician B. Shukenov. A solemn event "Syr Eli - Oner Ordasy" was held for the Day of Culture and Art Workers.
The closing of the 51st season of the Philharmonic's creative groups began on June 19 with a concert of the pop group "Ar dauirdin ozinin aueni bar". A staged concert of the dance ensemble "Tomiris" called "Adamzat pen mahabbat", a concert "Konil tolkyny" of the folklore ensemble "Akmeshit" and the kobyz ensemble "Korkyt sazy". At the musical evening with the accompaniment of the Turmagambet Folk Instruments Orchestra, vocal, classical and instrumental works by famous Kazakh and foreign composers were performed.
A creative evening of the People's Artist of Kazakhstan, Hero of Labor of Kazakhstan, World Artist, Academician of the International Creative Academy A. Musakozhayeva was held on the stage of the Arts Center, accompanied by the regional symphony orchestra. The conductor of the orchestra is Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, laureate of the "Kurmet" order, Professor M. Amze.
In honor of the 15th anniversary of the folklore ensemble "Akmeshittіn ak tany", a concert "Akmeshittіn ak tany" was held. Also during the evening, a book by the ensemble "Akmeshitt" by authors D. Zhanabaev and G. Kulakhmetov was presented. On December 31, a ceremonial event was held with the participation of the regional akim N. The Zhyrular Uyi implemented the Zhyr Kazyna project, within the framework of the project, concerts and evenings of traditional performers were held in the districts of the region.

A multifunctional center of Art for 1000 places were put into operation in 2024 in the city of Kyzylorda. 6 events were held in the region at the republican level. As a result, 118 individual performers and 18 dance groups took part in 13 international and 24 republican competitions and festivals held throughout the republic and neighboring countries. In total, students from the clubs won 34 grand prix and 85 prizes.

In the second quarter of 2024, 57 events were held in Regional Philharmonic with 13 545 audience. Of these, 39 concerts, 18 children's performances (charity -1, tours -10). On April 5, as part of “Rukhaniyat Zhyly”, the Zhyrauov House was opened at the regional philharmonic. The event was attended by the chairman of the regional maslikhat, the head of the regional branch of the Amanat party N. Baikadamov, zhyrau, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, Professor A. Almatov, a folklorist scientist, an outstanding representative of the epic zhyrshy, performing process, B. Zhusupov, a traditional singer, Suyunbai, successor to the traditions of Zhambyl A. Abdualiev, zhyrshy A. Komekov as well as other famous representatives of creativity and art.
Followers of “Syr Suleyleri”, zhyrshy-zhyrau, performed on the collegiate square of the zhyrau people’s house. On the same day, a concert of the folk instrument’s orchestra named after Turmagambet “Saz Zergeri” took place, dedicated to the 170th anniversary of the kuisha of the composer Kazangap Tlepbergenovich.
The Dostyk Sazy Philharmonic performed in the Navaiy region of Uzbekistan on May 16 honoring the 380th anniversary of Aiteke Bi Baybekuly as part of a special roadmap aimed at strengthening partnerships between the Kyzylorda and Navaiy regions and enhancing bilateral cooperation. The concert program featured the folk ensemble “Akmeshit”, the dance ensemble “Tomiris”, S. Tasbergenova, A. Tabynbaev and traditional performers.
May 21st was the solemn event 'Syr Eli - Oner Ordasy', dedicated to the professional holiday of cultural and art workers. Regional akim N. Nalibaev was present at the event and congratulated cultural workers and industry veterans on their professional holiday. At the meeting, the owners of works of art were presented with awards of the Kyzylorda region “Kurmet gramatasy”, “Turan”, a badge “Madeniet salasynyn uzdigi”, awards of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event ended with a concert program of local artists. Along with the symphony orchestra and the Tomiris dance ensemble, other artists of the Philharmonic performed at the concert.
On June 1st, young people were given the opportunity to see the production "Aibardyn Khikayalary" by A. Iskulova as part of International Children's Day.
A gala event dedicated to the celebration of June 12, Medical Workers' Day, was held at the Arts Center. The ceremonial event was attended by akim of the region N. Nalibaev and first vice minister of health of the Republic of Kazakhstan T. Sultangaziev. The concert program of the event, accompanied by a symphony orchestra, featured solo performers of the Philharmonic and Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan E. Abdykalikova.
The closing of the 51st season of concerts of the Philharmonic art groups began on June 19 with a concert of the pop group “Ar Dauirdin Ozinin Auyeni Bar”. It ended with a concert of the folk instrument orchestra named after Turmagambet “Ayauly mekenim”, a performance-concert of the dance ensemble “Tomiris” “Adamzat pen mahabbat”, a joint concert of the folk ensemble “Akmeshit” and the ensemble of kobyz players “Korkyt sazy”, “Konil tokyny”.
Kyzylorda Regional Kazakh Music and Drama Theater named after. N. 412 institutions of culture, art and archieves (of these, 209 libraries, 171 houses of culture and clubs, 14 museums, regional cultural production center,development center of national art, Academic Kazakh Music and Drama Theatre named after N.Bekezhanov, youth theatre, center of mothers, cultural and leisure park,Regional Philharmonic Society, institution of protection of historical and cultural monuments, 11 archival institutions).
A multifunctional center of Art for 1000 places were put into operation in 2024 in the city of Kyzylorda. The construction work of Kaukey village club of Kazaly district is underway.
Currently, work is underway on government procurement for the construction of 4 rural clubs (Aral district, a rural club for 150 places in the village of Amanotkel, a rural club for 100 places in the Maydakol rural district of the Kazalinsky district, a club for 150 places in the village of Bestam, Shieli district, a rural club in 100 places in the village of Ekpindi, Zhanakorgan district).

In Kyzylorda region, 409 institutions in the field of culture, art and archives provide services to the population (including 209 libraries, 171 houses of culture and clubs, 17 museums, the regional center for the development of folk art and cultural production activities, the regional musical and academic theater named after N. .Bekezhanov, Regional Philharmonic Society, Regional Institution for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Monuments, 11 archives).
In order to develop culture and sports, increase the accessibility of cultural and sports institutions to the population in 2023, construction of 5 village clubs, a multifunctional Arts Center for 100 seats in the regional center is underway. The construction of all facilities is transitional for the current year (clubs for 100 seats in Kaukei settlement, Kazaly district, for 150 seats in Zhaiylma settlement, Ozgent, Zhanakorgan district and in  Talsuat and Karaultobe settlements of Kyzylorda city).

By the 150th anniversary of the akyn and zhyrau Kadyrbergenuly (Kanly Zhusip), the republican aitys “Kara olennin sheberi” was organized, for the first time in the region “Aitys Olympics” among schoolchildren for the prize of the regional akim, to the 200th anniversary of the composer and kuishi Kurmangazy Sagyrbayuly and to the national Dombra Day republican festival of accompanists of folk instruments orchestras "Kui men kuyshi".
The Regional Philharmonic organized 116 concerts, 27150 spectators were attracted to them.

With the support of the akim of the region, for the first time after 17 years, a tour of the regional musical and drama theater named after N. Bekezhanov was undertaken in Almaty. In order to modernize the cultural sphere of the region in 2021, 4 objects were built and 2 monuments were installed as part of the Roadmap for the implementation of the Nur Otan party's election program "The Path of Change: a decent life for everyone!".

At the expense of the regional budget, the modernization of the building and the re-exhibition of the Fishermen's Museum were carried out.

The Head of State K.Tokayev, in his Message "Kazakhstan in a new reality: time for action", noted the need to resume the activities of children's clubs, where representatives of the younger generation could comprehend the basics of creativity and handicraft.

In this regard, a regional action plan for the development of children's clubs was approved, 62 clubs were opened in 2021, 174 clubs were opened under the state order. Currently, 5,410 children and teenagers are involved in the work of 263 circles. The 100.1 million tenge allocated under the state order from the regional budget has been fully utilized.

Libraries of the region book fund amounted to 4510937 units of books, Of which 2473226 were in the state language, 53371 copies of new literature were received. And also, 241482 readers were served.

As part of the program "Digitization of library collections", the libraries of the region have digitalized 13123 (3014613 pages) books.

In order to revive the spiritual values of the people, the achievements of the country over the years of independence, a republican aitys akyns "Tugyr biik Tauelsizdik" was organized, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The 12 akyns who took part in it sang new peaks conquered by the country over three decades of independence, showing a vivid example of the art of aitys. The Grand Prix was awarded to the young Kazalin akyn Nurzat Kar.

On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of Akyn Kete Zhusip Yeshniazuly, within the framework of the 30th anniversary of independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the republican zhyrau and zhyrshi contest "Zhyrlansyn, Tauelsizdik zhyr bulagi" was organized. Recognized masters of this type of creativity from different regions of the republic took part in the celebration of traditional musical and poetic creativity. Zhyrau from Aralsk Aibek Tanirbergenov was recognized as the winner of the competition.

Within the framework of the article by Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev "Seven Facets of the Great Steppe", in order to implement the project "A Thousand Years of Steppe Folklore and Music", with the support of the akimat of the region, work is underway to issue an "Anthology of Folklore of the Land of Cheese" in three volumes. Within the framework of the Roadmap for the implementation of the electoral program of the Nur Otan party, construction work is underway on 6 cultural objects. For 9 months, 12 objects have been carried out current work.
