About readiness for the voting day in the city of Aral of the Aral district and the village of Toretam of the Karmakshy district

1. Voting on the elections of the akims of the city of Aral of the Aral district and the village of Toretam of the Karmakshy district will begin at 7-00 local time.

9 candidates were nominated for the office of Akim in two electoral districts.

The number of candidates nominated by a political party is 2 ("NurOtan" – 2). The number of self-nominees is 7.

Two candidates were denied registration: 1 - due to non-compliance with the requirements of legislation in the field of civil service, 2 - on their own application.

As of 18-00 hours on November 12 this year, the registration of 1 candidate on his own application was canceled.

Thus, there are 6 candidates running.

Voting will continue until 20.00 local time.

In the elections of the akims of the city of Aral of the Aral district and the village of Toretam of the Karmakshy district, 18 electoral participants, 138 members of the PECS and 14 members of the district TICks participated.

The number of voters included in the list is 28,759 (in the Aral electoral district - 21,863, in the Toretam electoral district - 6896).

Qualitative composition of registered candidates

3 candidates are civil servants, 3 are representatives of commercial structures.

All candidates are men.

None of the candidates has an academic degree and is not a graduate of the Bolashak program.

By profession: 2 (33.3%) – engineers, 2 (33.3%) – economists, 1 (16.7%) – veterinarian, 1 (16.7%) – lawyer.

The average age is 43 years, while the youngest is 30 years old, the oldest is 58 years old.

By nationality: all candidates are Kazakhs.

Of the 6 candidates, 3 live in the district where the elections are taking place, 2 – in another district, 1 – in a city of regional significance.

The ballots were made with a reserve of 1 percent of the total number of voters in the electoral districts and delivered to the polling stations. The premises where the ballots are located have been sealed and placed under the protection of the internal affairs bodies.
3. Polling stations are equipped with voting facilities in accordance with the Instructions approved by the resolution of the Central Election Commission.
There are information posters about candidates at the polling stations, stands with the necessary information about the composition of commissions, telephones of higher commissions, prosecutor's offices and courts, Rules of conduct in the voting room approved by the resolution of the precinct election commissions.

In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 infection, election commissions are provided with the necessary number of disposable protective masks, gloves, shields, bathrobes and antiseptic agents.

The election commissions are ready to conduct the election.
