Visiting seminar of the CEC of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Turkestan

On November 4-5, 2021, the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan organized a visiting republican seminar with the participation of territorial election commissions on the topic "New approaches to organizing the work of election commissions" in the city of Turkestan.

During the seminar, the issues of the main activities of electoral bodies in terms of consideration and resolution of electoral disputes, ensuring the electoral rights of persons with disabilities, improving the system of training, legal and organizational issues of information support were discussed.

As a result of the seminar, it was decided to create working groups in five areas: on improving the system of organizing electoral training; on campaigning, interaction with public structures; on improving approaches to creating conditions for people with disabilities; on law enforcement and improving legislation; on automation and digitalization of electoral processes. Representatives of territorial election commissions will be included in these working groups.
