Results of socio-economic development of Kyzylorda region for January 2025

The area of the region is 226 thousand square kilometers.
The population as of January 1, 2024 is 846.3 thousand people, including 398.5 thousand people (47.0%) in urban areas.
The region consists of 7 districts and 1 city of regional significance (Kyzylorda), 2 cities of district significance (Aralsk and Kazalinsk).
Ethnic composition: Kazakhs - 96.2%, Russians - 1.5%, Koreans - 1%, others - 1.3%.
The volume of industrial production amounted to KZT 86.0 billion, the index of physical volume - 97.6%.
The volume of production in the manufacturing industry amounted to KZT 24.7 billion, the index of physical volume - 98.9%.
In 2025, it is planned to implement 21 projects to increase the output of the manufacturing industry by KZT 20.2 billion.
The volume of gross agricultural output amounted to KZT 5.1 billion, or 102.1% of the corresponding period of 2024.
The volume of investment in fixed assets increased by 9.8% and amounted to KZT 45.2 billion.
The volume of completed construction works amounted to KZT 5.2 billion, or 167.2% of the corresponding period of 2024.
75.4 thousand square meters of housing were commissioned (an increase of 18.9%).
The volume of trade increased by 2.3% and amounted to KZT 50.5 billion. The number of operating small and medium-sized businesses amounted to 65.5 thousand units, compared to the corresponding period of last year, the index of physical activity is 99.2%.
For financial support of small and medium-sized businesses within the framework of a single comprehensive program in 2025, KZT 7,415.3 million was allocated, including KZT 7,025.8 million for the instrument of subsidizing the interest rate on a loan, KZT 319.5 million for the instrument of partial guarantees, KZT 70.0 million for the instrument of providing state grants to business entities for the implementation of business ideas.
The local budget received its own revenues in the amount of KZT 11,708 million, which increased by 37.0% or KZT 3,163 million compared to 2023. The manufacturing industry – KZT 24.7 billion, the IFO - 98.9%.
