Results of socio-economic development of the Kyzylorda region for January-December 2024

The area of the region is 226 thousand square kilometers.
The population as of December 1, 2024 is 846.0 thousand people, of which 397.9 thousand people (47.0%) are urban.
The region consists of 7 districts and 1 city of regional significance (Kyzylorda), 2 cities of district significance (Aral and Kazaly).
Ethnic composition: Kazakhs - 96.2%, Russians - 1.5%, Koreans - 1%, others - 1.3%.
The volume of industrial production amounted to 1102.6 billion KZT, the index of physical volume - 99.6%.
The volume of production in the manufacturing industry amounted to 366.9 billion KZT, the index of physical volume - 119.6%.
In 2024, 13 investment projects in the manufacturing industry were implemented for 10.8 billion KZT with the creation of 199 jobs.
The volume of gross agricultural output amounted to 211.5 billion KZT, or 102.3% of the corresponding period of 2023.
The volume of investment in fixed assets increased by 21.7% and amounted to 639.5 billion KZT.
The volume of completed construction work amounted to 291.2 billion KZT, or 153.8% of the corresponding period of 2023.
866.8 thousand square meters of housing were commissioned (an increase of 16.9%).
The volume of trade increased by 6.6% and amounted to 833.5 billion KZT.
The number of operating small and medium-sized businesses amounted to 65.3 thousand units, compared to the corresponding period of last year, the IFO is 97.1%.
For financial support of small and medium-sized businesses within the framework of a single comprehensive program in 2024, 9,512.2 million KZT was allocated, including 7,862.0 million KZT for the loan interest rate subsidy instrument, 1,159.0 million KZT for the partial guarantee instrument, 73.1 million KZT for the instrument of providing state grants to business entities for the implementation of business ideas and 418.1 million KZT for infrastructure development.
The local budget received its own revenues in the amount of 159,175 million KZT, which increased by 44.4% or 48,354 million KZT compared to 2023.
