On the results of socio-economic development of Kyzylorda region for January – November 2024

The area of the region is 226 thousand square kilometers.
The population as of November 1, 2024 is 845.6 thousand people, of which 397.9 thousand people (47.0%) are urban.
The region consists of 7 districts and 1 city of regional significance (Kyzylorda), 2 cities of district significance (Aral and Kazaly).
Ethnic composition: Kazakhs - 96.2%, Russians - 1.5%, Koreans - 1%, others - 1.3%.
The volume of industrial production amounted to KZT 999.6 billion, the index of physical volume - 99.9%.
The volume of production in the manufacturing industry amounted to KZT 328.4 billion, the index of free volume - 120.6%.
In 2024, 13 investment projects in the manufacturing industry were implemented for KZT 10.8 billion with the creation of 199 jobs. The volume of gross agricultural output amounted to KZT 199.6 billion, or 102.5% of the corresponding period of 2023.
The volume of investment in fixed assets increased by 20.5% and amounted to KZT 559.4 billion.
The volume of completed construction work amounted to KZT 224.5 billion, or 162.0% of the corresponding period of 2023. 810.5 thousand square meters of housing were commissioned (an increase of 15.3%).
The volume of trade increased by 6.5% and amounted to KZT 734.9 billion.
The number of operating small and medium-sized businesses amounted to 65.7 thousand units, compared to the corresponding period of last year, the index of physical volume is 94.4%.
For financial support of small and medium-sized businesses within the framework of a single comprehensive program in 2024, KZT 9,512.2 million was allocated, including KZT 7,862.0 million for the loan interest rate subsidy instrument, KZT 1,159.0 million for the partial guarantee instrument, KZT 73.1 million for the instrument of providing state grants to business entities for the implementation of business ideas and KZT 418.1 million for infrastructure development.
The local budget received its own revenues in the amount of KZT 141,700 million, which increased by 7.0% or KZT 45,623 million compared to 2023.
