On the results of socio-economic development of Kyzylorda region for January-August 2024

Industrial production. In January-August 2024, industrial enterprises of the region manufactured products for KZT 713.0 billion. IFO-103.6%.
In 2024, within the framework of the Unified Industrialization Map, it is planned to implement 2 projects with a cost of KZT 1.7 billion with the creation of 87 jobs. These are:
1) The project "Production of a complex for the production of confectionery and pasta" (IP "Alpamys"). Cost – KZT 1.2 billion;capacity - 2520 tons per year; in work place - 67 people;place of implementation is the city of Kyzylorda.
2) The project "Construction of a rice processing plant" (IP "Erzhanov D").
Cost – KZT 500 million;capacity - 1500 tons per year; in work place - 20 people; place of implementation – Zhalagash district.
Investments in fixed assets amounted to KZT 349.3 billion or 128.0% of the corresponding period of 2023.
The volume of construction works amounted to KZT 110.7 billion, an increase of 42.6%.
558.2 thousand square meters of housing were commissioned, or 102.1% of the corresponding period of 2023.
The volume of gross agricultural output amounted to KZT 58.5 billion or 102.1% of the corresponding period of 2023.
Social sphere. The unemployment rate in the 2nd quarter of 2024 was - 4.9%.
In January-August 2024, 25,121 new jobs were created, including 9,262 permanent ones.
The average monthly salary per employee for the 2nd quarter of 2024 amounted to KZT 360.8 thousand, or 109.2% of the corresponding period in 2023.
Taxes and budget. The state budget received KZT 236.2 billion in taxes and other mandatory payments, or 112.5% of the forecast. Including 127.4 billion tenge (99.3% of the forecast) to the republican budget, KZT 108.8 billion to the local budget (115.2% of the forecast).
