On June 25, 2020, an online meeting of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held with the participation of all territorial election commissions of the republic via video conferencing.
The CEC decree established the amount of expenses of a candidate for deputies of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, covered from the republican budget, in the amount of 450,000 tenge for: 1) speaking with a program on television, on the radio and publication of 2 articles in periodicals - 300,000 tenge ; 2) holding public pre-election events and issuing campaign materials - 70,000 tenge; 3) transportation costs - 80,000 tenge.
Also, at the meeting, a resolution was adopted "On approval of the Rules for using the functionality of the Internet resource of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan during elections of deputies of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan."
According to the regulations, the functionality of the Internet resource of the Central Election Commission will be used to register electors - deputies of maslikhats and summarize preliminary results of voting online.
