INFORMATION MESSAGE for republican and regional mass media

In connection with the appointment of the next elections of deputies of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan for August 12, 2020, the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan reports the following:
1. Following the requirements of paragraph 3 of Article 28 of the Constitutional Law "On Elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan", information on the amount of payment, conditions, and procedure for the provision of air and print space must be announced and published by the relevant media no later than five days before the start of the election campaign (no later than July 18, 2020), as well as presented to the Central Election Commission at the address: Nur-Sultan, st. Beibitshilik 4, e-mail address: v.zheksembekova@election.gov.kz, a.khusainova@election.gov.kz.
2. The mass media cannot provide airtime, print space for placing, distributing campaign materials of candidates until the publication of information on the amount of payment, conditions, and procedure for providing air and print space.
3. Election campaigning begins from the moment of the end of the registration period for candidates - 6 pm on July 23, 2020, and ends at zero hours local time on August 11, 2020.
