Member of the Central Election Commission A. Smagulov made an inspection visit to the districts of Kyzylorda region

On October 2-3, as part of the organization and conduct of the campaign for the election of akims of districts and cities of regional significance, member of the Central Election Commission Asylbek Smagulov arrived on an inspection visit to Kyzylorda region.
The main purpose of the inspection visit is to provide methodological assistance to regional election bodies with an emphasis on district election commissions conducting the upcoming direct elections of akims.
It should be noted that the elections on November 5 will be held in Syrdarya and Shieli districts of Kyzylorda region.
Asylbek Smagulov inspected several polling stations located in two areas of the pilot elections, analyzed the progress of preparations and observed the practice of the business game. It showed the operation of the corresponding algorithm of actions of members of the precinct election commission on voting day. Asylbek Aizharykovich discussed current issues of holding elections with members of the commission. In particular, he emphasized that holding elections openly and in accordance with the requirements of the law is an important task.
Then, in both districts, he took part in a seminar-meeting with the participation of representatives of the local akimat and law enforcement agencies.
During the seminar, the heads of the district akim's offices reported that active work was underway to compile voter lists; representatives of law enforcement agencies stated that on election day all prerequisites would be created for the protection of public order.
At the meeting, the main features of the election campaign, election procedures from organizing the event to voting day, the procedure for nominating and registering candidates for akims, conducting election campaigning, and the activities of precinct election commissions during the preparation for the elections and on the date of their holding were explained.
About 250 commission members took part in the events.
