The main activities of the Kyzylorda region control department:
1) Implements state policy in the field of architecture, urban planning, construction, development of the production base of the construction industry;
2) Ensures that facilities and complexes are constructed in the manner specified by the authorized body for architecture, town planning, and construction;
3) Providing state architectural and construction control and supervision of the quality of construction facilities, application of administrative measures established by the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Administrative Offenses to violators of the rules of architectural and urban planning activities at these facilities;
4) Providing licensing in the sphere of architectural, town-planning and construction activities;
5) Decides on the application of the provided legislative measures to violators in connection with violations and deviations from the norms of legislation, state regulatory requirements, conditions and restrictions established in the field of architectural, urban planning and construction activities;
6) Conducting certification of experts to the right to carry out expert works and engineering services in the sphere of architectural, urban planning and construction activities;
7) Organizing and monitoring for the quality of project documentation;
8) Accredits project management organizations in the field of architecture, town planning and construction;
9) Conducts inspections in accordance with the Business Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
10) Take the measures prescribed by law against legal entities and officials who have committed irreparable violations or failed to remedy the violations within the prescribed time limits;
11) Monitors technical and author supervision activities;
12) Providing the control over the activity of individuals, carrying out technical supervision in accordance with paragraph 9 of Article 31-1 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Architectural, Urban Planning and Construction activities in the Republic of Kazakhstan";
13) Providing the receipt of notifications, procedure for issuing permits, licensing in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on permits and notifications;
14) Implementation of the state control for monitoring compliance with the labor legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including occupational safety and health requirements;
15) Monitoring of collective agreements submitted by employers;
16) Analysis of causes of industrial accidents, occupational diseases, occupational poisoning and the development of proposals for their prevention;
17) Investigation of labour-related accidents, in accordance with the procedure established by the Labour Code and other normative legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
18) Interaction with representatives of employees and employers on the improvement of safety and health standards;
19) Consideration of appeals by employees, employers and their representatives on issues of safety and health at work;
20) Monitoring of the certification of production facilities according to working conditions;
21) Submit to the competent State labor authority periodic reports, as well as the results of monitoring the state of safety and health at work on the basis of the information system on occupational safety and security;
22) Monitoring of collective labor disputes in the form, established by the authorized state body for labor;
23) Providing the necessary information about labor relationship to the authorized state body for labor;
24) Providing declaring the activities of the employer;
25) Acts as a founder on behalf of the Akimat of the Kyzylorda region in the charters (regulations) of subordinate regional municipal legal entities that are not state bodies;
26) Exercises in the interests of local government other powers assigned to local executive bodies by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of architecture, urban planning and construction and control of the Kyzylorda region;
26-1) Carries out state control over the safe operation of attractions and equipment for children's playgrounds.
