Social care
In the region, social assistance worth KZT 5530.5 million was given to 16281 low-income families by the end of 2022.
Targeted social assistance. The budget provides KZT 5.2 billion for the payment of state targeted social assistance for 2022 (RB – KZT 4.5 billion, MB – KZT 0.7 billion).
State targeted social assistance was paid to 64 147 people (12 336 families) worth KZT 5 212,6 million.
17 420 children aged 1 to 6 years (from 1 to 3 years – 8276, from 3 to 6 years – 9144) from among the recipients of state targeted social assistance were provided with a guaranteed social package in the form of a set of food and hygiene items.
Based on concluded social contract from among the recipients of conditional cash assistance 2 832 employable people were covered by active employment measures (1544 were employed in permanent jobs, 13 were sent to social jobs, 1056 for community service, 29 for youth practice, 13 retraining, advanced training 177 assistance to entrepreneurial initiatives).
Housing assistance. Housing assistance was paid for 3 945 families (13 749 family members) worth KZT 317,9 million.
Charitable contribution for vulnerable families, in need of assistance from extra-budgetary sources.
Social assistance was provided for 19 477 people in the region (low-income families with many children) worth KZT 406.8 million.
Social protection of persons with disabilities.
According to a centralized database of people with disabilities as at 1 January 2023, 32001 people with disabilities were registered, of these, the disabled of group I are 3,615 people, group II – 10494 people, group III - 11931 people, children with disabilities under 18 years of age - 5,961 people (18.6%).
On January 1, 2023 through social services portal from 27285 in need, 26015 people with disabilities were provided with technical means of rehabilitation in accordance with the individual rehabilitation program (95.3%).
In the region for 2021-2025 plan for the adaptation of 1294 facilities of social infrastructure was determined (2021 year - 258, 2022 year – 258, 2023 year – 258, 2024 year – 258, 2025 year - 259).
Adaptation of 277 facilities is planned for 2022. As of January 1, 2023, funds in the amount of KZT 31.1 million were provided from the budget and other sources for the adaptation of facilities, the planned 277 facilities were adapted and included in the republican interactive accessibility map.
