II. Air transport.
To date, 34 flights are carried out through the Korkyt Ata airport (40 in summer), including 21 flights to Nur-Sultan, 17 flights to Almaty, 2 flights to Atyrau week.
In 2020, 86.3 thousand passengers were sent from the Korkyt Ata airport in these directions, which is 81.2% compared to the corresponding period of 2019.
Sanitizers (antiseptics) are installed in the waiting rooms, the room for the mother and the child. Also, public places, aircraft cabins and car ladders are treated with special disinfectants.
Informing leaflets (in Kazakh and Russian) were posted in the buildings of the airport complex in order to prevent coronavirus infection and symptoms.
Currently, according to the project for the construction of a new passenger terminal of the airport, the best option is being considered for its implementation by expanding the area of the existing airport terminal. In this regard, the Department, together with local design organizations, developed a draft design. This draft design was submitted to the regional akim and approved.
To date, a public procurement tender has been held for the development of design and estimate documentation, and a potential supplier, Project Service LLP, is carrying out appropriate work. The start of construction and installation work is scheduled for the 2nd half of 2021.
Main goals:
- carrying out further work on the project for the reconstruction and expansion of the terminal of the airport "Korkyt Ata" in the city of Kyzylorda;
- Carrying out works on opening international flights from Kyzylorda airport of Aeroflot airline to Moscow and domestic flights of Fly Arystan airline to the cities of Atyrau, Aktau.

By the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 24, 2014 No. 1134, JSC "Korkyt Ata Airport" was issued a permit to provide international flights.
To date, only 40 regular flights a week are operated through the airport, including 21 to Nur-Sultan, 17 to Almaty, and 2 flights to Atyrau.
For 9 months of 2020, 50.0 thousand passengers were sent, which is 65.6% compared to the same period of 2019.
The project" construction of a new passenger terminal at Korkyt Ata Airport " is implemented within the framework of the public-private partnership mechanism.
To date, developed tender documentation and the relevant organizations (industry conclusion of the Committee of civil aviation, economic the conclusion of the Department of economy and budget planning of Kyzylorda region, the positive conclusion of LLP "Center for expertise of projects").
When resuming domestic flights at Korkyt Ata Airport JSC, flight algorithms have been developed to prevent the coronavirus pandemic in accordance with sanitary and epidemiological requirements.
Only passengers (accompanying people with disabilities who cannot move independently) can enter the airport building. Airport staff will carry out temperature control of the passengers before the trip.
The waiting room and the "mother and child" room are equipped with a sanitizer (antiseptic). In addition, places of mass congestion of passengers, cabins of aircraft, buses and minibuses, car ladders are treated with a special disinfectant.
Leaflets (in Kazakh and Russian) are posted in the airport complex, informing about the signs of coronavirus infection and precautions.
