On irrigated land:
In the region, 158 thousand hectares of irrigated land are being restored and 29 thousand hectares of unused land are being put into circulation, with a total cost of 161 billion US dollars. there are 3 (three) projects worth KZT.

The PUID - 2 project includes 15.1 thousand hectares of irrigated land in Akkum, Bukharbay batyr, Tan and Madeniyet rural districts of Zhalagash district. On November 31, 2018, a procurement competition was announced in accordance with international rules of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in April 2019, the consortium "Meliorator" LLP, "Kazakhdorstroy" LLP, "Aksu" LLP, and in April 2019, the consortium "Meliorator" LLP, "Kazakhdorstroy" LLP, and "Aksu" LLP were recognized as winners. The PUID - 3 project includes 143 thousand hectares of land. In 2018-2020, 796 million tenge was allocated from the regional budget to the districts and the city budget (except for the Aral district) for documentation work.the current transfer was allocated in the amount of KZT 148.4 million. documentation work has been completed in Kazalinsky, Karmaksha, Zhalagash, Syrdarya, Shieli, Zhanakorgan districts and the city of Kyzylorda.
However, the Republican state enterprise "Kazvushar" of the Committee on Water Resources of the Ministry of energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan does not give consent for the acceptance of the above-mentioned water bodies into ownership.
In 2017-2018, the regional budget allocated 4 425 million to document water management facilities included in the project for the introduction of 29 thousand hectares of irrigated land into circulation. tenge was allocated, documentation work was completed, and water bodies were transferred to the Republican property.
By order of the committee of Water Resources of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a feasibility study of the project "modernization (modernization) of irrigation systems for irrigated land" was developed. The issue of the project implementation remains unresolved.
Water supply of localities:
To date, 219(372 objects)water management facilities have been purchased in the regional municipal property. Cleaning and repair of water management facilities accepted for municipal ownership is carried out in stages.
This year, funds were allocated for water management works on 6 channels (437.2 million US dollars). tenge).
