In order to protect, reproduce, preserve and prevent forest fires in the region, 577 employees work in 8 Forestry institutions.
In 2021, forest reproduction will be carried out on an area of 14.3 thousand hectares. Of these, 3.0 thousand hectares are located on the drained bottom of the Aral Sea.
Currently, work is underway to plant saxaul on 1,000 hectares of the planned area. The remaining 13.3 thousand hectares will be sown with saxaul seeds in autumn in accordance with the agrotechnical requirements.
To monitor the sanitary condition of the forest fund, a forest pathological survey is carried out on an area of 594.1 thousand hectares.
Since the beginning of the year, 361 people have been issued a logging and forest ticket for the provision of Public Services (Forest ticket-360 pieces, logging ticket-1 piece).

51 raids were organized, 22 cases of forest violations were identified.
For reference: 1 case for illegal logging; 5 cases for the destruction of special signs; 11 cases for contamination with household waste; 4 cases for illegal grazing of livestock on the land of the Forest Fund; 1 case for reckless grazing of torangil trees listed in the Red Book of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
As a result, the damage caused to nature was fully recovered with an administrative fine of 197.2 thousand tenge and an administrative fine of 121.1 thousand tenge.

At the same time, the volume of forest nurseries for growing saxaul and sayalinsky tree seedlings in the drained bottom of the Aral Sea will be increased from 22.6 hectares in 2020 to 80 hectares, and 100 hectares in 2021.
