WATER MANAGEMENT:
To date, 221 water management facilities (372) have been transferred to the regional municipal property. Works on cleaning and repair of water management facilities transferred to the regional municipal property are being carried out in stages.
This year, funds were allocated from the regional budget to carry out water management works on 12 channels. Of these, repairs were carried out on 4 channels as part of the Employment Roadmap.
Namely, the work on cleaning the channels "Akaryk" in the aul district of Muratbayev and "Akkiyz" in the village has been completed. Ayteke bi of Kazaly area, "Cox" in Shieli district, "Sodagar" in Zhanakorgan district.
In addition, at the expense of the regional budget, work was carried out to clean 8 channels.
Such as: channel "Horse Kyrgyz ditch" and "Daulet ditch" in the town of Kazalinsk Kazalinsk district, Meney in the aul district komekbaeva Karmakshy district, "Auyl arigi" in the aul Enbek district, Zhalagash district, "Acts" in the aul district aydarly and "Kyzyl Tu" in the aul district of the Syrdarya region Amangeldi, "L-1" in the aul district Giant Shieli district, "U-1,U2, U3, U4" in the aul district Sunak ATA Zhanakorgan district.
As a result of these works, channels with a length of 95.4 km were cleaned, 9 units of hydraulic structures located along them were repaired.
Thus, the settlements were fully provided with irrigation water, it was possible to sow various fruit and vegetable crops on 800 hectares and water 2200 hectares of pastures and hayfields.
In addition, in order to provide water to settlements, 6 units of pumping equipment were purchased at the expense of the regional budget.
Namely, pumping equipment was purchased for the aul districts of Torebay bi, Aldashbay Akhun of Karmakshi district, Enbek of Zhalagash district, Kandoz of Zhanakorgan district and GKP"Tabigat".
Also, design and estimate documents were developed for water management works on 20 channels.
It should be noted that in accordance with the Economic Development Plan of the Kyzylorda region until 2023, approved by the resolution of the Akimat of the region No. 57 of June 18, 2020, water management works will be carried out at 6 facilities and purchased
43 units of pumping equipment for localities.
By irrigated land:
In accordance with the order of the Head of State on the restoration and introduction of irrigated land in the region, work continues on 3 (three) projects to restore 158 thousand hectares of irrigated land and to include in the turnover of unused 29 thousand hectares of land, with a total cost of 161 billion tenge.
In particular, last year, under the PUID-2 project, restoration work was started on irrigated land in the aul districts of Akkum, Bukharbay Batyr, Tan and Madeniyet of Zhalagash district with an area of 15.1 thousand hectares. In 2019, 837 million tenge was disbursed, and in 2020, 2.2 billion tenge.
As a result, it is expected that the implementation of these projects will lead to the restoration of 80% of the engineering-planned irrigated land and the development of agriculture in the region.
The project rrssam-2:
Work is underway to implement 4 components at the expense of the republican budget (strengthening of protective dams in Karmakshi and Kazali districts, straightening the riverbed in the Korgansha and Turumbet sections of Zhalagash district, comprehensive repair of the Kyzylorda hydroelectric complex, construction of a bridge near Birlik village of Kazali district) out of 6 included in the first phase of the project "Regulation of the Syrdarya Riverbed and preservation of the northern part of the Aral Sea".
In particular, 500 million tenge was allocated from the republican budget for the beginning of the reconstruction of the Kyzylorda hydroelectric complex, which is in an emergency state.
In addition, projects to strengthen protective dams in Karmakshi and Kazali districts, to straighten the riverbed in the Korgansha and Turumbet sections of Zhalagash district are planned to be implemented next year as part of the Comprehensive Plan of Socio-Economic Development of the Kyzylorda region for 2019-2022.
Also, for other components of the RRSSAM-2 project, a feasibility study of the project "Regional Development Project and restoration of the northern part of the Aral Sea"will be developed at the expense of a grant from the World Bank.
