Fish industry:
To date, the region has registered 207 lakes and the Small Aral sea that are of fishing significance.
In particular, the Small Aral sea is fully (100 %) and 182 lakes (86%) assigned to entrepreneurs on a competitive basis, from 5 to 10 years.
For 9 months of 2020, the volume of fish caught in the region is 6661 tons.
There are 9 fish processing plants in the region with an annual capacity of 12.5 thousand tons.
14 types of fish products are exported.
The volume of exports of fish products for 9 months of 2020 amounted to 3,221. 5 tons.
To date, there are 14 commercial fish farms in the region.
In accordance with the regional program for the development of the agro-industrial complex for 2017-2022, the number of commercial fisheries is up to 30 and the volume of fish produced in 2022 will be 477 tons.
In addition, this year funds have been allocated from the regional budget, and a scientific and biological justification for 22 lakes is being developed.
