1) protection, protection, use of the Forest Fund, reproduction and afforestation of forests;
2) organizes and ensures the protection, protection, reproduction and afforestation of forests, regulates forest use on the territory of the State Forest Fund under its functional jurisdiction;

5) promotes the functioning of voluntary fire-fighting structures in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
6) creates a reserve of fuel and lubricants for extinguishing fires in the territory of the State Forest Fund during the fire season in the forest;
7) provides control over the burning of straw, hay and other plant residues, burning of Kau grass on agricultural land, pastures and hayfields in the territories adjacent to the forest fund of peasant and farm farms and other agricultural organizations;
8) organizes fire propaganda, regular coverage in the mass media of issues related to the preservation of forests, compliance with fire safety rules in forests;
9) organizes work on improving the sanitary condition of the forest and combating forest pests and diseases on the territory of the forest fund;
10) develop a draft resolution of the akimat of the region to make a decision on the restriction of the right to forest use, on the Prohibition of the stay of individuals on the territory of the state forest fund, when conducting air-chemical, air-biological and aerosol measures in the fight against forest pests and diseases, as well as during periods of increased fire danger in the forest;
11) develops materials on the state report of the Forest Fund under its functional jurisdiction, the state forest Cadastre, and state forest monitoring for submission to the authorized body;
12) accept completed objects and finished products produced as a result of Forestry measures on the plots of the State Forest Fund under its functional jurisdiction;
13) develops draft rates of payment for forest use on the plots of the State Forest Fund (with the exception of rates for Root release of wood) ;
14) organizes and conducts tenders for the provision of forest resources for long-term use on the plots of the State Forest Fund under its jurisdiction with the participation of the authorized body and the local representative body of the region;
15) suspends, restricts, and terminates the right of forest use on the plots of the State Forest Fund under its functional jurisdiction, as well as works that pose a threat to the state and reproduction of forests in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
16) forest resources provide forest users with plots for the construction of construction objects on the lands of the State Forest Fund under their jurisdiction, provided for long-term forest use for recreational, recreational, historical, cultural, tourist and sports purposes; hunting needs; indirect forest use;
17) carries out state registration of long-term and short-term forest use conditions on the plots of the State Forest Fund.
