1) implement the state policy in the field of protection, reproduction and use of wildlife;
2) coordinates, controls and supervises the activities of its subordinate bodies and organizations for the protection, reproduction and use of wildlife;
3) develop a draft resolution of the regional akimat on approval of the list of Fisheries reservoirs of local significance;
4) develop proposals to users of the animal world on making decisions on securing hunting grounds and Fisheries reservoirs and (or) plots and establishing easements for the needs of hunting and fisheries in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
5) organizes measures to provide assistance to animals in the event of a threat of their death in hunting grounds and Fisheries reservoirs and (or) areas that have fallen ill;
6) conducts competitions for securing hunting grounds for users of the animal world for the needs of the hunting economy;
7) conducts competitions for the approval of Fisheries reservoirs of international significance located on the territory of the region;
8) organizes activities for the introduction, reintroduction and hybridization of animals, including rare and endangered species of animals, as well as artificial breeding;
9) organizes and ensures the protection of the animal world in the reserve fund of hunting grounds;
10) organizes and ensures the protection of the reserve fund of Fisheries reservoirs and (or) sections;
11) conducts certification of Fisheries reservoirs and (or) sites on the basis of scientific recommendations;
12) develop proposals for the designation of recreational fishing zones;
13) develop proposals for establishing the boundaries of fishing plots, opening and closing snags (snags) ;
14) use of the animal world, except for research fishing, as well as rare and endangered species of animals in fishing reservoirs located on the territory of two or more regions;
14-1) organizes and (or) ensures the conduct of scientific research and design and survey work in the field of protection, reproduction and use of wildlife in the territory of the region;
14-2) organizes reclamation fishing on the basis of a decision of the territorial division of the Department of the authorized body in cases where there is a threat of fish death on fisheries reservoirs and (or) sites of the reserve fund;
15) attribution of Fisheries reservoirs and (or) their plots to reservoirs and (or) plots intended for conducting commercial fishing, amateur (sports) fishing, commercial fish farming on the lake, commercial fish farming on the net, commercial fishing, amateur (sports) fishing, commercial fish farming on the lake in accordance with the criteria of commercial fishing, amateur (sports) fishing, commercial fish farming on the lake, develops a draft resolution of the akimat of the region on approval of the list of Fisheries reservoirs and (or) sites of local significance in the context of reservoirs and (or) sites intended for conducting fish farming on a grid;
15-1) organizes and (or) ensures the conduct of scientific research and design and survey work in the field of protection, reproduction and use of wildlife in the territory of the region;
15-2) organizes reclamation fishing on the basis of a decision of the territorial division of the Department of the authorized body in cases where there is a threat of fish death on fisheries reservoirs and (or) sites of the reserve fund;
16) exercise other powers assigned by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the state institution "Department of Natural Resources and environmental management of Kyzylorda region".
