Open Day in the EPPF

As part of the information and explanatory work among the population, the Unified Accumulative Pension Fund is holding an Open Day in an online format on June 28. Anyone who wants to connect to the online platform can attend this event without leaving home.

The theme of the event is "Pension Asset Management: How and where are pension assets invested?".

The main purpose of the virtual meeting will be to increase the financial and legal literacy of the population. The guests of the event will learn the structure of the pension system of our country, get acquainted with the structure of the investment portfolio and financial instruments to ensure the profitability of pension assets.

It should be recalled that pension contributions received to individual pension accounts (IPS), which are recorded by the UAPF, are invested by the trust managers of pension assets - the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan and investment portfolio managers (IPM) in various financial instruments. At the moment, the UAPF has concluded an agreement on the trust management of pension assets with four UIPS (JSC "Jusan Invest"; JSC "Halyk Global Markets"; JSC "BCC Invest" and JSC "Centras Securities").

The amount of depositors' pension savings is recalculated and reassessed weekly in accordance with the results of investing pension assets. Investment income includes income in the form of remuneration on securities (deposits and other transactions), income in the form of market revaluation of financial instruments, income in the form of currency revaluation, income on assets under external management, etc.

In addition, the purpose of this event is to provide comprehensive information on other issues related to the work of the accumulative pension system.
