        World Election Day is celebrated on the first Thursday of February by the international community at the initiative of the Association of European Electoral Organizers 2005.

        The purpose of celebrating World Election Day is to draw people's attention to the problem of improving suffrage in the broadest sense.

        This is the second meeting dedicated to this day in the Syrdarya region.

         On February 4, 2022, together with members of the election commission, a meeting was held with young voters.

         The meeting with young voters took place at the school-lyceum named after I. Toktybaev No. 35 in the village of Terenozek.

          At the meeting, the chairman of the Syrdarya district election commission Utegenova B. explained to the young voters of the Syrdarya district the essence of the elections, the history of their formation, the basic principles, what rights they have as voters and how they can exercise them. They exchanged views on the topic "My victory in the elections."

          A meeting dedicated to the World Election Day was held in the building of the Syrdarya regional election commission.
