The religious situation in the Syrdarya district remains stable. In order to assess and analyze the religious environment, continuous interaction is maintained with the akims of the settlement and rural districts, as well as with heads of relevant sectors, and a systematic analysis of the religious situation is conducted. During the reporting period, no problematic issues capable of causing socio-political or religious tension were identified. In order to prevent religious extremism among the population, an information and outreach group has been established by the decree of the district akim. The group includes civil servants, representatives of non-governmental organizations, youth, opinion leaders, and a theologian. Members of the information and outreach group conducted 67 activities (seminars, meetings, distribution of informational materials), reaching 447 people. On social media, 90 materials (video clips, posters) were published to prevent the spread of non-traditional religious movements.
Currently, 15 mosques are operating within the district.
