ACTIVITIES IN THE FIELD OF ONOMASTICS

Onomastic work in the district is carried out in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Languages in the Republic of Kazakhstan” and methodological recommendations.

In 2025, 11 applications were received via the “E-Application” system regarding naming streets, schools, and settlements. All applications were reviewed and answered in accordance with the law.

In honor of the 80th anniversary of Victory, proposals were submitted to name streets after 23 WWII veterans, of which 14 were approved.

At the meeting of the regional onomastic commission held on September 30, 2025, 6 candidates were proposed for inclusion in the “List of Historical Figures”, with Konkyrkozha Kozhykov being approved.

DEVELOPMENT OF THE STATE LANGUAGE

According to the 2021–2025 Development Plan, the share of residents proficient in the state language reached 96%.

All planned activities for the development of the state language were implemented at 100%, with full utilization of allocated funds.
Competitions, festivals, intellectual games, explanatory campaigns, and training courses were held.
In 2025, 73 public sector employees completed state language training courses.

Regular explanatory work is conducted to ensure compliance with the Law “On Languages in the Republic of Kazakhstan”, with the participation of public organizations and government bodies. Special attention is paid to the correct use of the state language in signage, menus, price lists, and other public information in business facilities.
