1. Livestock.
As of December 1, 2025, the livestock population in the city amounts to: cattle – 25,617 head, small ruminants – 28,953 head, horses – 17,461 head, camels – 2,507 head, poultry – 17,221 head.
Compared to the corresponding period of last year, the cattle population amounted to 102.2%, sheep and goats – 92.0%, horses – 103.0%, camels – 86.5%, poultry – 100.2%.
During the reporting period, a total of 2,200.7 tons of meat (live weight), 3,087.1 tons of milk, and 743.3 thousand eggs were produced in the city.
Compared to last year, meat production increased to 101.7%, egg production to 100.1%, while milk production amounted to 100.0%.
2. Agricultural reporting and sown areas.
In the city, semi-annual agricultural reporting is maintained in a timely manner, and control is exercised over the statistical accounting of sown areas of agricultural crops.
3. In the current year, agricultural crops were placed on an area of 8,041 hectares.
Including: rice – 3,354 ha, wheat – 566 ha, sorghum – 15 ha, spring barley – 30 ha, current-year alfalfa – 408 ha, previous-year alfalfa – 1,203 ha, camel alfalfa – 15 ha, potatoes – 131 ha, vegetable crops – 1,311 ha, melon crops – 1,008 ha.
In the current year, 17,440 tons of rice were harvested from 3,354 hectares, with an average yield of 52.0 centners per hectare.
For grain crops: wheat – 412 tons were harvested from 531 hectares, with an average yield of 7.8 c/ha; spring barley – 28 tons were harvested from 30 hectares, with an average yield of 9.3 c/ha.
Across agricultural entities, 6,766 tons of alfalfa hay were procured, with an average yield of 41.9 c/ha.
For vegetable and melon production: potatoes – 1,631.5 tons were obtained from 130 hectares, with an average yield of 125.5 c/ha; vegetables – 17,764.0 tons were harvested from 1,311 hectares, with an average yield of 135.5 c/ha; melon crops – 13,579.0 tons were harvested from 1,008 hectares, with an average yield of 136.5 c/ha.
During the autumn harvesting operations, the following equipment was involved: 20 headers, 29 combines, 86 tractors, 21 trailers, and 5 trucks.
