On the work done in the field of employment for the third quarter of 2024

The situation in the city's labor market

The unemployment rate. According to the Department of Statistics of Kyzylorda region, the number of economically active population in 2023 was 147128 people, the total unemployment rate in the city was 4,7 %.

The creation of new jobs. One of the conditions for increasing the level of employment is the creation of new jobs. In 2024, it was planned to create 12224 new jobs, as of October 1 2024, the 12033 (98.4%) new jobs were created.

Employment. In 2024 of October 1, 22504 people applied for employment, 3165 people were employed. The total number of unemployed at the end of the reporting period was 6766. The registered unemployment rate in the city was 4,6 % of the economically active population.

The City Department of Employment and Social Programs holds monthly "Job Fairs", which are an effective form of rapid employment. This year, 11 job fairs were held, where 265 employers and personnel workers of the city took part, with the provision of 1842 applications for vacant jobs. According to the results of the job fairs, 177 unemployed people were employed on a permanent basis, and 1388  received advice in the field of employment.

In 2024 October  1, it is planned to train 50 people for short-term vocational training. As of today, 25 people have been sent for training

It is planned to provide a state grant to 520 people for the implementation of new business ideas. As of today, 520 people have received a grant.

Community service.  It is planned to send 2322 people to public works, 3650 people were involved.

Social jobs.  It is planned to send 206 people to social jobs, 120 people have been sent to work.

For youth practice. It is planned to send 1341 young specialists to the youth practice, 980 participants from among the youth have been sent.

First workplace. It is planned to send 72 young specialists to the first workplace, 72 young specialists have been sent to work.  

Contract of Generations. It is planned to send 5 people to the generational contract project . As of today, 1 person have been sent for training

The Silver Age project. It is planned to send 826 people to the Silver Age project, 669 people have been sent.

 

Social assistance

As of October 1, 2024, social assistance was provided to low-income citizens in the city:

• targeted social assistance was paid to 4351 low-income families (including 22426 people) in the amount of 1 586 409.6  thousand tenge.
• 6300 children 72 808.7 thousand tenge for travel fees;
• housing assistance was provided to 565 families (1905 people) in the amount of 13 406.5  thousand tenge.
• 2374 individual categories of citizens in need of social support were paid social assistance in the amount of 566340.1 thousand tenge from the local budget.

For  the  implementation of rehabilitation measures for persons with disabilities paid;

For the services of 1146 individual assistans for the disable of group 1 035 697.2  thousand tenge

For the services of 17 sign language specialists 59 300.4  thousand tenge

30 589.4  thousand tenge for providing invataxi services to persons with disabilities;

For material support of 544 children with disabiliries, brought up and educated at home 33844.6 thousand tenge
