On February 1, the first funds from the National Fund of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter - the National Fund) were credited to all children - citizens of Kazakhstan in the UAPF. 6,919,131 children participated in the program. All of them were charged the same amount of $100 and 52 US cents.
These are only the first accruals, the amount will increase annually due to the growth of the National Fund and the receipt of investment income. The accrued funds will continue to be invested as part of the assets of the National Fund and bring additional investment income to the children participating in the program until they reach the age of 18.
In addition, 304,815 children over the age of 18 during 2024 received the specified amount to their target savings accounts in the UAPF. They will have the right to use their target savings for housing or education as soon as they reach adulthood. During the first 10 days of the program, 41 applications for the payment of targeted savings for improving housing conditions and 42 applications for education were executed, and according to them, the UAPF has already transferred funds to the authorized operator for crediting to the applicants' bank accounts. Statistics on completed applications are updated daily.
Calculation of the amount of target requirements and target savings for participants of the National Fund for Children program for 2023
The investment income of the National Fund in annual terms amounted to 1.39 billion US dollars. This is his average annual income over 18 years. At the same time, the average annual yield of the National Fund for 18 years was 2.6% (in US dollars). 50% of the investment income of the National Fund is the sum of the target accrual requirements in 2024 – 695.5 million US dollars.
According to the information received by the UAPF from the State database "Individuals" (hereinafter - GBD FL), a list of citizens of Kazakhstan under the age of 18 was formed as of the end of December 31, 2023. It included 6,919,131 people, including 304,815 participants who will turn 18 in 2024.
50% of the investment income of the National Fund (695.5 million US dollars) was divided by the number of participants in the program (6,919,131 children) and as a result received 100.52 US dollars each.
The main goal of the National Fund for Children project is to support the younger generation and provide them with the opportunity to improve their living conditions or get an education at the expense of national savings.
Within the framework of the program, children will receive funds from the National Fund in the form of target requirements, including investment income, for each year of participation in it at the beginning of the year following the reporting one, until they reach the age of 18.
In the year when a citizen turns 18, his target requirements acquire the status of target savings, expressed in the form of monetary equivalent in US dollars and credited to target savings accounts in the UAPF (hereinafter referred to as the Central Tax Service), which recipients of target savings who have reached the age of 18 have the right to use in order to improve housing conditions and (or) pay education.
Detailed conditions for the use of target savings payments are regulated in the relevant Rules for the use of target savings payments from the UAPF in order to improve housing conditions and to pay for education.
Since January 1, 2024, children – citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan, born from 01.01.2006 to 12/31/2023 inclusive, have become participants in the National Fund for Children program. Children born in subsequent years will also automatically become participants in the program.
Every year, the UAPF forms a list of minor citizens based on the State database "Individuals" (hereinafter referred to as GBD FL). If a child is included in this database, he automatically becomes a participant in the National Fund for Children program and he is guaranteed to receive target requirements.
If, for some reason, the child is not included in the list of participants in the target requirements and is not taken into account when calculating their total number, but has the right to be such a participant, then target requirements are accrued for the missed period (periods) in the year following the year of application.
Parents or other legal representatives of the minor can check information about the fact of the child's participation in the program and the accrued target requirements on the specially created kids.enpf website.kz for the child's IIN, where you can familiarize yourself with the terms of the program, get instructions, and answers to your questions. Parents can also check the data on charges for each child in their personal account on the portal egov.kz .
On the first day of the program, February 1, 2024, more than 2 million 700 people visited this section, and about 5.5 million requests for IIN were processed.
Statistical reports on accruals by age, regions of the republic are posted on the website enpf.kz .

An adult citizen can check the target savings independently in his personal account on the enpf website.kz, in the UAPF mobile application or on the portal egov.kz .
If for some reason the child was not included in the lists of participants of the National Fund for Children program in 2024, we recommend that the legal representatives of the children check:
the child has an identity document (birth certificate, identity card of a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan from the age of 16);
correctness and availability of the following details in the identity document: Full name, date of birth, IIN, citizenship;
availability, attachment and correctness of information about children in your personal account on the e-government web portal in the Digital Documents (Family) section. This resource will provide a detailed statement of the target requirements of the attached child.
If the child has:
there is no identity document, there is no IIN, it is necessary to contact the State Corporation at the place of residence (PSC);
citizenship is missing, has not been established or incorrectly indicated, it is necessary to contact the migration service at the place of residence.
After making the necessary adjustments to the GBD FL, the target requirements and investment income for the child will be fully accrued next year, taking into account the missed period.
Thus, one of the most important social projects of the country, the National Fund for Children, is aimed at fulfilling the main mission of the National Fund: saving financial resources through the formation of savings for future generations.
Once again, we emphasize that the program has just started, the amount of target requirements will increase due to the growth of the National Fund and the receipt of investment income, and these funds will help the younger generation enter adulthood.
