In 2020, it is planned to plant agricultural crops in the city on an area of ​​7395 hectares. The area of ​​the main rice crop will be 3033 hectares. Including, grain crops make up 387 hectares, oilseeds - 40 hectares, fodder crops - 1372 hectares, potatoes, vegetables, melons and gourds - 2563 hectares. At the moment, work on the preparation of agricultural machinery and seed cleaning to sowing condition, on the purchase of mineral fertilizers and herbicides. Sowing work has begun in the city today.

To date, 1016 hectares of alfalfa of previous years have been harvested, 356 hectares of alfalfa have been sown (including under the cover of 56 hectares of spring barley), 236 hectares of spring wheat. 74 tractors, 21 plows, 9 seeders, 2 trucks and 21 tractor trailers take part in the spring field work and sowing agricultural crops.

705 tons of cheap diesel fuel have been allocated for the spring field work in the region. At present, the operators, having paid in full for the 260 tons of cheap diesel fuel allocated for the month of May, have distributed 260 tons to the farms.
