The public utility institution "Kyzylorda city department agriculture and land relations" of the Akimat of the city of Kyzylorda performs functions in the field of regulation of land relations in accordance with the land legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The department carries out its activities in accordance with the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, acts of the President and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and other regulatory legal acts.
The main functions of the Department are: identifying ownerless land plots and organizing work on registering them, preparing proposals for the compulsory alienation of land plots for state needs, organizing the development of land zoning projects, projects and schemes for the rational use of land in districts, cities of regional significance, organizing land tenders (tenders, auctions), drawing up a balance of land in the city of regional significance, keeping records of land owners and land users,
as well as other subjects of land legal relations, control over the fulfillment of the terms of sale and purchase agreements and lease agreements for a land plot and temporary gratuitous land use, preparation of proposals for the issuance of permits by the local executive body of a district, a city of regional significance for the use of land plots for exploration work in accordance with article 71 of the Land Code, the identification of land unused and used in violation of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
