Due to the low water level in the Syrdarya River, work is underway to conserve water and diversify crops. In this regard, Vice Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurlan Aldamzharov visited Kazalinsky district, who met with the heads of economic units and agricultural formations of the district.
During his working trip, Vice Minister Nurlan Zhanuzakovich, together with Akim of the district Meirambek Shermaganbet, head of the Aral-Syrdarya Basin Inspectorate Zeynulla Kaztoganov and heads of relevant industries visited the acreage of Zhalantos Batyr LLP, the A. Tynybayev hydroelectric power plant in Basykara village and the rice-sowing farm in the district.
The akim of the district informed the vice minister that this year it is planned to place agricultural crops on 18245 lands in the Kazalinsky district, including rice on 6436 hectares. However, due to the lowering of the water level in the Syrdarya River, in order to save water, rice was placed 800 hectares less than the established plan, that is, 5,636 hectares.
Nurlan Zhanuzakovich noted that in the future, if the water level in the Syrdarya River decreases, appropriate work will be carried out to pump water from the main channels through special pumps to the lower channels. In addition, the heads of relevant industries and farms need to work together to maximize the use of water and obtain appropriate products.
It should be noted that 9 farms are engaged in rice sowing in the region as a whole. Currently, 5,636 hectares of rice crops have been completely threshed on all farms.
During his working trip to the Aral region, Kazakh Minister of Agriculture Aidarbek Saparov got acquainted with the chemical processing works against especially dangerous pests carried out in this region and took part in a meeting of the emergency headquarters.
"60 thousand hectares of territory have been developed in the Kyzylorda region. 18,000 hectares need chemical treatment. Currently, 11,700 hectares of land are being cultivated. "I keep my personal control in order to complete this work as soon as possible and with high-quality execution," the minister said.
As of May 26, the region is fighting locusts. 11,706,000 hectares of the planned 19,654,000 hectares have been cultivated. 4 light aircraft, 2 ultralight aircraft, 12 ground units, 5 drones and 45 rear vehicles were used in pest control. The total area to be cultivated will be 60,024 thousand hectares. Contracts have been signed with the supplier organizations for the planned sites.
To coordinate the work, an emergency headquarters has been established under the leadership of Deputy akim of the region Bakhyt Zhakhanov. Such headquarters are operating in all districts. 279 specialists are involved in monitoring and control in local areas. To date, 474.1 thousand hectares of land have been studied and species of grasshoppers have been identified. However, no damage to agricultural crops has been recorded.
A regular meeting of the district commission on juvenile affairs and protection of their rights in the akimat of the district was held under the chairmanship of the deputy akim of the district and the chairman of the commission.
The commission's agenda includes a proposal from the district police department and the organization of psychological and medical care for minors.
Senior Inspector of the Juvenile Police Department of the Interior Department Mahabbat Begaliyeva made a statement on the first issue discussed on the agenda. During the meeting, the head of the Department explained the directions of the work carried out within the framework of the analysis, and also presented a number of proposals made by the results of the analysis over the past period.
The algorithm of the analysis was explained to the members of the working group, noting that for the second stage of the analysis in April-May, the areas of digital development, innovation and the aerospace industry "Telecommunications, postal communications and artificial intelligence, innovation, electronic industry and digital assets" have been fixed in our region.
In addition, full information was provided on the identification of bureaucratic problems (excessive or unregulated functions in the ministries of the above-mentioned industries and coordinating local executive bodies, complexity of decision-making processes, unbalanced management structure, excessive formalization of individual administrative procedures, insufficient integration of information systems, etc.), and high-quality development of proposals for their solution.
The head of the department noted the importance of the areas of work being carried out and invited the heads of institutions to take an active part in the analytical work.

In 2022, our President K. Tokayev signed a decree "on holding meetings of heads of central executive bodies with the population." The text of the document addresses issues of further democratization of Kazakh society, raising public awareness of the reforms being carried out in the country, strengthening the responsibility and accountability of executive bodies to the public, and broad involvement of the population in the public administration process in accordance with articles 10, 17 and 21 of the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan." In this regard, the heads of central executive bodies (with the exception of the Ministries of Defense and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan) were instructed to hold regular meetings with the population throughout the year, to ensure personal reception of citizens, meetings with non-profit organizations as part of meetings with the population.
As part of these ambitious tasks, the Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs in the Kyzylorda region is still actively conducting personal receptions of citizens and meetings with the public with the participation of the head of the department.
For example, in 2024, 82 individual receptions were organized, 110 residents' questions were considered. These receptions were held at public reception sites of the Akimat of the Kyzylorda region, the Amanat party and in the Syrdarya, Shieli, Karmakshi districts. Residents addressed a number of social issues, including the issues of public service and its new system, the legality of admission to public service and public services. At a personal reception and meetings, explanations were given on all citizens' issues, and the issues raised were brought to the attention of the competent authorities.
Since the beginning of 2025, 5 personal receptions and meetings with the population have been held, a total of 24 citizens have been accepted. In particular, in the Syrdarya region, Amankeldinsky, Aidarli rural districts and at special public reception sites, the head of the department presented to the public a number of important innovations in the field of public service, the possibility of direct appointment of university graduates with honors on the basis of a state grant during the year without competitive selection, new opportunities provided for specialists who graduated from the Academy of Public Administration. under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, information was also provided on the issues of conducting a new selection for the Youth Personnel Reserve. During the personal reception, citizens asked questions about the updated civil service system, personnel policy, applying for vacancies, work experience requirements and social issues, received comprehensive answers from the head of the department, explained the patterns of admission to the state and law enforcement service.
Establishing an open and systematic dialogue with the population based on the Presidential Decree is one of the main priorities of the state at the present stage. This initiative plays an important role in implementing the principle of a "listening State". The Department of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the Kyzylorda region is actively working in this direction, making a significant contribution to strengthening public confidence and increasing the availability of public services. Establishing direct and open relations with society contributes to timely response to the demands of citizens and improvement of the public administration system.
