Reference for the first quarter of 2025

The number of ethnic representatives in the Kazaly district is 296. Of these, 172 reside in Kazaly city, 103 in Aiteke Bi settlement, and 21 in rural districts (Basykara village – 14, Zhalantos village – 3, Maidakol village – 1, Aktan Batyr village – 1, Bekarystan Bi village – 1). Ethnic representatives make up 0.06% of the total district population.

Ethnic composition: Kazakhs – 96.66% (78,863 people), Russians – 0.144% (114 people), Uzbeks – 0.1035% (82 people), Tatars – 0.0416% (33 people), Koreans – 0.008% (27 people), Germans – 0.0227% (18 people), Ukrainians – 0.0189% (15 people), Greeks – 0.0025% (2 people), Turkmens – 0.0025% (2 people), Kyrgyz – 0.0012% (1 person), Bashkirs – 0.0012% (1 person), Belarusians – 0.0012% (1 person).

The interethnic situation in the Kazaly district remains stable. The district assembly consists of representatives of ethnocultural organizations and respected public figures. The assembly is currently engaged in activities through the "Mothers' Council," "Public Accord Council," and "Mediation" initiatives. The Public Mediators' Council under the Assembly has 75 members, the Elders' Council has 15 members, and the Mothers' Council has 17 members.

Throughout the year, no interethnic conflicts, complaints, or disputes have been recorded. Ethnic representatives and international families living in the district do not stand out but actively participate in cultural and socio-political events. Their overall social well-being is stable, with no cases of discrimination or interethnic discord registered.

According to the plan, around 30 events have been organized with ethnic representatives, involving more than 5,000 participants. These events include debates,

featured in national and regional media, 210 on websites, 1,700 in local newspapers and internet resources, and 2,935 on the department's official social media pages.

As part of the media plan aimed at providing positive informational support for the social, economic, spiritual, and cultural development of Kazaly district, over 1,200 materials were published in the media.

This includes approximately 100 news segments aired on regional and local TV channels, over 800 articles published in local print media, and nearly 300 materials featured in national and local online platforms.
