Completed work on tourism development for the second quarter of 2022
There are 13 service complexes of various categories operating on the line of the international transport corridor "Western Europe-Western China" passing through the Karmakshy district. In 2022, the construction of service complexes will begin along the Western Europe – Western China highway in the village of Toretam and the aul district of Torebai bi. It is planned to complete the construction in August of 2 complexes of category "C" and the construction of a sanitary and hygienic point at the overpasses near the aul district of Irkol. The construction of the gas station "Helios", built near the village of Toretam, has been completed and is currently operating.
There are 7 hotels in the area. For 12 months of 2021, 2,821 people were provided with hotel accommodation services in the amount of 23.1 million tenge. In 2021, new hotel services were launched in the Keruen and Oasis complexes.
The Karmakshi Demeu Travel travel agency has been registered from the village of Zhosaly, short-term tours to the cities of Turkestan and Shymkent are being organized, passports of tourist routes to the historical and cultural attractions of the region are being prepared for the development of domestic tourism, and trips to the tour will be organized in the future.

According to the development of service complexes along the highway "Western Europe-Western China" for 2022, it is planned to begin construction of 2 complexes of category "C" near the village of Toretam and the village of Torebai bi, 2 sanitary and hygienic nodes in the overpasses for transport maintenance near the villages of Irkol and Akzhar and complete the construction of the gas station "Helios"

In 2021, as part of the development of roadside services along the Western Europe-Western China highway, the following facilities were put into operation:
Complex "Margarita" (IP Ten Margarita), complex "Keruen" (LLP "Baikonur and K"), hotel at the complex "Oasis", shopping center at the complex "Aksaray", gas station "QazaqOil" (LLP "Petro Retail"). Construction of the gas station "Helios" has begun.
A permit has been obtained for the construction of 2 complexes of category "C", as well as 2 sanitary and hygienic units.
Since the beginning of the year, 14681 tourists have visited the Korkyt Ata complex.
A travel agency "Demeu Travel" has opened in the village of Zhosaly, started organizing one-day tours to the cities of Shymkent and Turkestan.
According to statistical information, accommodation services for 2,618 people in the amount of 22.5 million tenge were provided for 9 months of 2021.

In Karmakshy district along the highway "Western Europe-Western China", there are 6 facilities that meet the new standards.
In the area of 3 hotels (hotels "Almaty", "KZ-MVK" in the village of Zhosaly, "Zhamal" in the village of Toretam) offer their services to consumers.
Currently, work is underway on the construction of 2 sanitary and hygienic nodes of 1663, 1677 km and a roadside complex of category "C" for 1651 km. international transport corridor "Western Europe-Western China".
The construction of a roadside complex of category "C" on the 1651-1652 kilometer of the international highway "Western Europe-Western China" has been completed.
In addition, the Keruen service complex of category "C" has been opened on 1570 km of the international transport corridor "Western Europe-Western China".
