Land relations

The land fund of the Karmakshy district is 3104070 hectares, of which 127834 hectares of land are leased for long-term use from the Karaganda region and 556324 hectares of land from the district territory are leased and used by the Russian Federation. As of November 1, 2019, the land used by the district: agricultural land - 378,876 hectares, settlement lands - 83446 hectares, industrial, transport, defense, communications and other lands - 4986 hectares, forest land - 435283 hectares, water fund lands - 18,631 ha, land of the state fund - 1,754,358 ha.
