In 2019, the number of jobseekers who applied for employment is 3989 unemployed (Karmakshy - 2363 people, Baikonur - 1626 people). The number of registered unemployed citizens for 12 months of 2019 is 799 people (Karmakshy - 152 people, Baikonur - 647 people), the level of registered unemployed is 3.8%, (Karmakshy - 0.6%, Baikonur - 3.2%). In 2019, 1,654 people were employed for permanent and temporary work (Karmakshy - 754 people, Baikonur - 900 people). Of the 916 new jobs planned for 2019, 1,551 new jobs were opened, or the annual plan was fulfilled by 169.3%. To reduce the unemployment rate, 12 job fairs were held this year. The number of employers is 35, the number of vacant jobs is 83.
