Currently the district has 18 public associations, 20 public Fund and 10 branches of the national organizations in the following areas: protection of interests of entrepreneurs, helping children with disabilities, protecting the interests of disabled veterans and Afghanistan, Patriotic education of the younger generation, promotion of healthy lifestyles, protection of the interests of veterans, youth development initiatives and others.
According to statistics, the total population of karmakshi district is 54,317 people, of which 13,419 are young people aged 14-29. youth make up 24.7% of the total population. Men 7084, women 6335.
In connection with the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "on religious associations and religions" dated October 11, 2011 No. 483-IV, 14 mosques of the DUMK branch and 2 religious associations were registered in the justice authorities in the district.
