Religion

In connection with the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "on religious associations and religions" dated October 11, 2011 No. 483-IV, 14 mosques of the DUMK branch and 2 religious associations were registered in the justice authorities in the district. In January 2020, an information and propaganda group on religious issues was created under the akimat of the district. Deputy akim of the district, head of the internal policy Department, head of the education Department, first Deputy of the Karmakshy branch of the Nur Otan party, non-governmental organizations, youth, veterans, local writers, theologians, and athletes joined the IPG.
