The volume of the main rice crop is 88.2 thousand hectares.

Currently, the region’s agricultural enterprises have begun spring field and sowing.
Today, the sown area is 21.2 thousand ha, including: spring wheat - 3.7 thousand (97.7%), spring barley - 0.5 thousand (96.0%), safflower - 2 , 6 thousand (46.7%), alfalfa of the current year - 14.3 thousand (76.6%).
Mineral fertilizers and seed materials for sowing are fully provided.
In the region, for the spring field and sowing work in 2020, 14 thousand tons of cheapened diesel fuel were allocated. Of these, 3250 tons of diesel fuel allocated for the month of March were delivered to the region and distributed to farms at 178 tenge per liter.
The sowing work of the main crop - rice is expected to begin after April 20th.
Spring field work is carried out in accordance with the established schedule, there are no significant problematic issues.
