A training seminar on "Elections of mayors of cities of regional significance, villages, settlements, rural districts of the Republic of Kazakhstan: legal bases of the electoral process and organization of the work of election commissions"was held in the Aral district in the regional House of Culture.

The training seminar was attended by Deputy Chairman of the regional election Commission B. N. Nakipov, member of the regional election Commission K. Nauryzbayev, associate professor of the branch of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the Kyzylorda region A. Zh.Ayaganova and senior methodologist A. A. Turabayeva, members of the district election commission, chairmen and secretaries of 55 precinct election commissions.

The training seminar was opened by the chairman of the district election Commission, T. S. Darmenov.

During the seminar, the deputy chairman of the regional election commission B. N. Nakipov made reports on the topic "The main aspects of organizing and conducting direct elections of mayors of cities of district significance, villages, settlements, rural districts", a member of the regional election commission K. Nauryzbayev on the topic "On information and documentation support for the activities of election commissions during the elections of mayors of rural level".

Also at the training seminar, representatives of the branch of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan held a "business game" dedicated to the election day of mayors of cities of district significance, villages, settlements, rural districts.

The participants of the training seminar discussed and exchanged views on the legal and organizational aspects of the organization and conduct of elections, information support for the activities of election commissions, the rights and duties of proxies and observers, ensuring the electoral rights of persons with disabilities and holding elections of mayors of rural districts in the context of a pandemic.

The chairs and secretaries who took part in the training seminar passed the test on the organization and conduct of elections.
