Participate in the republican competition on social responsibility of business "PARYZ"

 

The Department for the Coordination of Employment and Social Programs of the Kyzylorda region (hereinafter referred to as the Regional Department) announces the start of accepting documents for participation in the republican contest on social responsibility of business "PARYZ", held by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The competition, approved by the Decree of the Head of State in 2008, is aimed at the formation and enhancement by private business entities of their corporate social responsibility to society in order to further improve the welfare of the population. The competition is held in order to stimulate private entrepreneurs to solve social issues both for their employees and for society as a whole and to demonstrate and widely disseminate the positive experience available in this area.

Participation in the contest is free of charge.

Subjects of private entrepreneurship can take part in the competition. Applicants are eligible who:

1) have been operating for at least three years;

2) are not in the process of liquidation and have not been declared bankrupt;

3) do not have unresolved violations of labor legislation, including arrears in wages and other payments to employees;

4) do not have collective labor disputes with employees;

5) carry out social and charitable activities on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which should not be aimed at supporting political, trade union and religious organizations;

6) in the application for participation in the competition, they indicated reliable information, and also submitted the documents in full.

In accordance with the Rules, the awarding of the titles of laureates of the competition is carried out in the following nominations:

"Best Socially Responsible Enterprise": This nomination considers the activities of applicants implementing social programs aimed at supporting their own personnel, social adaptation of people with disabilities and improving the welfare of society as a whole (organization of wages and social benefits, systems of professional training and retraining of personnel , employment of the greatest number of people with disabilities, and so on);

"The best enterprise in the field of labor protection": This nomination considers the activities of applicants who create working conditions that allow maintaining the health of employees in the process of labor activity;

"Best Collective Agreement": In this nomination, collective agreements are considered that significantly improve and strengthen the labor and social rights of employees, provided for by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

"For contribution to the environment": This nomination considers the activities of applicants who have significantly distinguished themselves in the implementation of environmental (environmental) programs aimed at improving the state of the environment.

Also, a special award "The best social project of the year" is established in the competition. This special award considers social projects implemented by businesses that promote employment and (or) improve the living conditions of socially vulnerable and low-income segments of the population.

Applicants for the title of laureate of the competition draw up and submit materials on paper and electronic media to local executive bodies of region.

To participate in the competition, applicants send materials to local executive bodies in two copies:

1) a completed application;

2) the applicant's report, which is a self-assessment of the level of its activities and specific results in corporate social responsibility. The applicant's report must include: history of a legal or natural person; organizational structure; other additional qualitative information;

3) annex to the report (copy of the collective agreement and other documents);

4) a questionnaire filled out in the form established by the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan and posted on its Internet resource.

The deadline for receiving documents is July 1 of the current year.

Note: it is not allowed to re-nominate for the title of laureate of the competition within two years after receiving this title in a certain nomination.
