Industry
Within the framework of the state program of industrial innovative development in the Aral region, 9 projects worth 104.4 billion tenge are being implemented, in which 1,317 people will be employed during the implementation:
1. The project of Aral Soda LLP "Construction of a soda ash plant". The cost of the project is 93.5 billion tenge, the jobs created are 700 people.
To date, work is underway to bring the appropriate infrastructure to the deployment zone of this plant.
2. The project of Zhak-Nur LLP "Mining and processing Plant for the production of titanium". The cost of the project is 3.3 billion tenge, the jobs created are 200 people.
Currently, work is underway on the exploration of the field, the construction of the plant is expected in 2022.
3. The project of JSC "Araltuz" "Construction of the third Spanish workshop". The cost of the project is 2.9 billion tenge, the jobs created are 200 people.
To date, the construction work has been 100% completed. The project is scheduled to be fully launched in December.
4. The project of Kazakhstan Aquaculture LTD LLP "Construction of a plant for deep processing of fish and a workshop for the manufacture of plastic boats". The cost of the project is 160 million tenge, the jobs created are 100 people.
Launched in December 2020, it takes 400 - 500 kg of fish per day. The plant employs 25 people. Additionally, the construction of a workshop for the production of flour from fish waste has been completed on the territory of the plant, equipment has been purchased.
5. The project of "Qazaq Camel" LLP "Workshop for the production of dry powder from camel milk". The cost of the project is 2.5 billion tenge, the jobs created are 23 people.
According to the project, it is planned to build two buildings: buildings for receiving milk, collecting and producing dry powder. Currently, the construction of the milk collection building is 100% completed. Design and estimate documentation is being prepared for the dry powder production building. The project is planned to be fully launched in the second quarter of 2022 (April).
6. The project of the Aral Service and Procurement Center LLP "Expansion of the complex for the cultivation and deep processing of commercial fish". The cost of the project is 312.5 million tenge, the jobs created are 54 people.
The construction of the project includes 4 stages. The 1st stage is the fish deep processing workshop in Aralsk, jobs – 12 people, and the 4th stage is the freezing workshop and the construction of a dormitory in the Bogensky rural district, jobs – 10 people, are fully completed and launched.
7. The project of "Aral Quartz" LLP "Construction of a mining and processing plant for the enrichment of quartz sand". The cost of the project is 780 million tenge, the jobs created are 50 people.
The installation of equipment for the project is planned to be carried out in 2 stages.
According to stage 1, the corresponding equipment has been fully imported from Russia, installation work is underway.
According to stage 2, the equipment from China passes the customs procedure. The project is planned to be launched before the end of the year.
8. The project of Kamysh Orda LLP "Processing of reed products. The project cost is 160 million tenge, the number of jobs created is 20 people.
Currently, the initiator of the project is conducting land prospecting works for the construction of a reed processing workshop in the village of Karashalan.
9. The project of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea and the Kazakh Scientific Institute of Fish Farming "Construction of a duck and pond fish farm near Lake Kamystybas" Project cost - 45 million tenge, jobs created - 20 people.
Tourism
The Aral region is rich in tourist sites. Examples are the Kambash Lake, the Kokaral dam, the Aklak water intake, the Akespe fountain and the Urm sands near the settlement of Shizhaga.
The Kokaral Dam is a strategic dam separating the small island from the Great Sea, which is under state control. It was developed in 2005 on the direct instructions of the Elbasy in order to preserve the water level of the Small Aral Sea. Since this year, the water level of the Small Aral Sea has increased significantly, and fishing has continued in our area. Currently, 9 large fish processing enterprises export 22 types of fish to the countries of the near and far abroad.The Blue Island dam is increasingly attracting foreign tourists, which can be seen on the video on the social network "You Tube".
The Aklak water intake is a dam at the mouth of the confluence of the Syr Darya into the Small Aral Sea. It was put into operation in 2007 to maintain the Syrdarya River on the territory of the Aral district of the Kyzylorda region. This place often becomes a visiting area for foreign tourists.
Akespe Fountain-130 km from the district center of Akespe. in the distance there is a small village of fishermen. In search of treatment from the healing water, which the villagers call "Issyksu", not only residents of the district, but also neighboring districts are turning. Here, on the initiative of individual entrepreneur Kenzhebayev Darkhan, a resident of the village of Akespe, a special Konak house and a dining room work for nonresident guests. Nevertheless, the population from nearby settlements builds tents on their own during the summer months and spends their holidays here. The source of the healing spring was discovered in 1986 by drilling the institution of the Geobarlau Shymkent hydroexpedition. As a result of drilling operations from a depth of 1200 meters, the presence of mineral water with a temperature of 62 degrees was revealed. Hot water contains a lot of minerals useful for human health. Healing spring water is an indispensable remedy for diseases of the joints, skin, and nervous system.
In order to turn this fountain into a large tourist zone, the regional Department of Entrepreneurship and Tourism, as a result of preliminary negotiations with investors, determined the composition of the water source.
As for Lake Kambash, there are a lot of people from nearby areas and neighboring regions. Lake Kambash is one of the main sources of economic development of the district. On the beach, where about 90 thousand people live a year, entrepreneurs are currently building a number of facilities and creating conditions for a relaxing holiday for visitors, and the regional gathering of fishermen is celebrated annually.
Also, an event known among amateur anglers from near and far abroad as ice fishing called "Aral Fish" continues here every year.
