The results of audit activities conducted by the Department of Internal State Audit in the East Kazakhstan region for 9 months of 2026

For the 9 months of 2026, the Department of Internal State Audit for the East Kazakhstan Region conducted 33 audit activities, covering budget funds totaling 12,968.8 million tenge.

As a result of the audit activities conducted, financial violations totaling 6,773.1 million tenge were identified, and violations of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on public procurement amounted to 4.3 million tenge.

Through measures taken, 522.1 million tenge was reimbursed to the budget and restored in the form of goods, works, and services.

Following the audit activities, 17 officials were held administratively liable. The total amount of fines imposed was 9.5 million tenge, with the collection of fines ensured in full.

In addition, 17 officials were held disciplinarily liable. Signs of disciplinary offenses discrediting the civil service were established against three officials. A disciplinary sanction in the form of a warning about incomplete official compliance was applied to these individuals.

The Department continues its work aimed at ensuring compliance with budget legislation and public procurement legislation, eliminating identified violations, and taking the necessary measures to reimburse and restore budget funds.
