The Department of Internal State Audit for the Ulytau Region conducts ongoing work to identify violations of legislation and bring guilty officials to administrative responsibility.
Over 9 months of the current year, 175 administrative proceedings were initiated and corresponding protocols were drawn up for violations of legislation in the field of public procurement, accounting, and financial reporting.
Based on the results of case reviews, fines totaling 16.8 million tenge were imposed, which have been collected in full to the state budget revenue.
The largest number of violations was identified in the field of public procurement. Among the main ones are untimely application to court to recognize suppliers as unscrupulous participants in public procurement, as well as the conclusion of contracts in violation of legal requirements.
The work also applies a simplified proceeding mechanism, allowing payment of 50% of the fine amount within seven days. This contributes to the prompt execution of administrative penalties.
The work on preventing violations, ensuring legality, and strengthening financial discipline is under constant control of the Department and will be continued.
