The Department of Internal State Audit for Kostanay Region conducted an audit engagement at the State Institution "Kostanay Regional Territorial Inspectorate of the Committee for Veterinary Control and Supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan".
Based on the audit results, financial violations totaling 21,079.2 thousand tenge were identified. During the inspection, facts of non-compliance with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan were established.
In particular, in violation of the norms for the consumption of fuels and lubricants for state bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan and expenses for the maintenance of motor vehicles, the Institution allowed an overconsumption of fuels and lubricants as a result of exceeding the mileage limit for official vehicles by more than 2,100 kilometers per month, which led to excessive write-off of fuels and lubricants.
Also, in violation of the Rules for reimbursement of expenses for business trips at the expense of budget funds, including to foreign states, the Institution allowed the failure to submit advance reports by accountable persons.
The identified violations indicate systemic errors in the Institution's work process. Following the inspection, an order was sent to the audited entity on the need to eliminate the identified violations and recover budget funds.
