The Department of Internal State Audit for Aktobe Region has been continuously applying the online budget monitoring system since 2025 to ensure targeted and efficient use of public funds. This digital system has enabled real-time control over budget expenditures, early identification of risks, and strengthening of financial discipline.
Online budget monitoring is a modern digital platform that automatically analyzes the flow of budget funds. The system accumulates and analyzes data on the utilization of finances by central government bodies and local executive bodies, and when signs of risk are detected, notifications are promptly sent to authorized bodies. This, in turn, contributes to the prevention of financial violations and increased efficiency in budget fund management.
Since the beginning of 2026, 32,214 risks have been reviewed through the "Online Budget Monitoring" system in the fields of education, healthcare, culture, and sports, resulting in 463 notifications being sent for a total amount of 12,944,957.4 thousand tenge.
As a result of the audit at the MSI "Temir Children's and Youth Sports School" of the SI "Department of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism of Aktobe Region," it was established that in May 2026, a coach was overpaid 235.3 thousand tenge when paying vacation allowance for annual labor leave.
Through the measures taken, the total amount of violations of 235.3 thousand tenge was returned to the institution's account. Based on the audit results, the chief accountant was subjected to disciplinary action in the form of a "reprimand."
At the MSI "Kargaly District Centralized Library System," it was established that for the period from January to March 2026, a technical worker of the institution was unjustifiably paid a 25% bonus to the official salary for working in rural areas in the amount of 117.5 thousand tenge. The paid funds were recovered to the institution's account.
Based on the audit results, the chief accountant was subjected to disciplinary action in the form of a "reprimand." In conclusion, it should be noted that the online budget monitoring system has proven its effectiveness to date as an important tool aimed at increasing transparency in the field of public finance, strengthening financial discipline, and ensuring the efficient use of budget funds.
