The Department conducts desk control on an ongoing basis in accordance with paragraph 1 of Article 30 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On State Audit and Financial Control" dated November 12, 2015 No. 392-V ZRK, desk control is carried out by the authorized body for internal state audit without visiting the state audit object in the manner established by this Law and the rules for conducting desk control, by comparing information obtained from various sources of information on the activities of state audit objects.
The main effective measures based on the results of desk control are sending notifications to the customer on elimination of violations and suspension of expenditure operations.
Based on the results of desk control for 7 months of 2026, the Department sent 1,590 notifications on elimination of violations in public procurement procedures, of which 1,540 notifications were executed.
Under Article 207 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 170 administrative protocols were drawn up, based on the results of consideration of which administrative penalties were imposed for a total amount of 17.996 million tenge, of which 17.218 million tenge were collected. 23 administrative cases were considered in court. Under Article 462 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 22 administrative protocols were drawn up.
Along with other functions provided for by legislation, the Department considers appeals from individuals and legal entities.
According to the Unified Platform for Receiving and Processing Citizens' Appeals "E-ötinish", for 7 months of 2026, 604 appeals were received, of which 498 appeals were considered, 88 were redirected to other bodies.
The main part of complaints relates to public procurement procedures — 351 appeals.
