In the Turkestan Region, 112.3 million tenge was spent on medical services not specified in the license

During control activities conducted by the Department of Internal State Audit for the Turkestan Region, a number of violations were identified in the activities of the branch of the Non-Commercial Joint Stock Company "Social Health Insurance Fund" for the Turkestan Region.

In particular, it was established that during the period 2023–2025, LLP "Өrken" provided medical services not specified in its license.

The audit revealed that the organization provided medical services in the areas of dermatovenereology, infectious diseases, cardiology, physiotherapy, neuropathology, oncology, otorhinolaryngology, rheumatology, phthisiology, surgery, endocrinology, laboratory diagnostics, psychiatry, dentistry, and obstetrics and gynecology, which were not covered by the relevant licensing documents.

As a result, 112,336.1 thousand tenge was utilized for the specified services. Including:

• in 2023, 13,053 medical services were provided for the amount of 30,530.5 thousand tenge;
• in 2024, 24,442 medical services were provided for the amount of 61,920.1 thousand tenge;
• in 2025, 9,124 medical services were provided for the amount of 19,885.5 thousand tenge.

Thus, over three years, 46,619 medical services were provided in areas not specified in the license, for which 112.3 million tenge was spent.
